A time machine. I recommend this restaurant, but understand what you are getting, and judge accordingly. This looks like a place I would have eaten at in the '70s. It has that vibe, but not on purpose. They aren't chasing current trends, and THAT... is totally okay. They have good food, good service and very reasonable prices. If you are looking for microgreens, heirloom vegetables, and locally, ethically sourced meat, this isn't not your place (sometimes, I AM that guy; sometimes, I want dinner). "you get what you pay for", that's how I'd describe my experience. The service was consistent as soon as I walked through the door even with a pretty hefty crowd of people inside. I got the chicken fried steak which was ok, a bit too tough and it didn't really take me to flavor town. But for the price it was quite a hefty plate, I couldn't even finish it all. The biggest thing that stood out to me was the flies, quite a few of them lingered around thankfully none landed on my plate. Overall, a decent place but maybe avoid the chicken...

Everything and more than you could hope for! Some describe this place as a hole in the wall, well we wanted to stay here! It’s not fancy, but it’s got that down home, small town atmosphere that can’t be beat .

Steak and eggs were on point, did I mention it’s a ribeye?? Son got full stack of pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream. We got a side of sausage gravy to hit with our biscuits, so good! Everything was great, highly recommend!!
