The wing king — Restaurant in Union City

I drove into union city sunday night expecting for Applebee's to be the only thing open and being forced to eat the same old burger and fries. I had been eating nothing but fast food and gas station junk for a week and I was craving a genuine home cooked meal. I stumbled on the wing king coming into town and I am so thankful I did. I was welcomed by a lovely girl behind the counter that steered me in the right direction. She recommended the jerk chicken special (which is right up my alley). What the kitchen prepared me was far beyond my expectations. Juicy chicken with just the right amount of spice, Mac and cheese, rice, corn on the cob, and a cornbread pancake. It was easily 2x the amount of food I was expecting.

I sat and enjoyed my meal with a coke zero (chefs recommendation). There were a couple of very well behaved children in the dining area watching the dodgers game with me.

Sadly I couldn't keep any leftovers as my hotel didn't have a refrigerator so I at every last bit that I could.

The chef came out and we had a quick chat about life where he learned his trade and things around union city. Really cool guy.

That was a joke I go in to order steaks and they refused me because I didn't call it in,so tell me what's the difference between calling and walking in. So yea they a joke. I really don't care too much and going out to eat. My one of my son's called me at work and said momma have you heard of a place called wing king. I said no. He asked me do you want to try it. I said yes I will. But I know me and I'm not to quick to eat out because I don't play when it comes to my food and everyone can't cook to good. So my son order the food. Me thinking it's going to be a small portion for a big price. So when he brought it to me it was alot of food and to my surprise the wing king did not disappoint me.
