The food was hot, and they got my order correct(no cheese on every item). Good job. However, everytime I eat at this particular Taco Bell, it seems like it's, 'tell the customer "NO" day!' Here's an example. They have a new menu item I like, and for a limited time(Flat Bread Tacos). The first time I ordered it I noticed the Flat Bread was too chewy for my liking. I kindly told the cashier that I would like the Flat Bread to be grilled before making my tacos. The young lady insisted that it couldn't be grilled. I called out to the manager who was preparing the food and said, "please grill the Flat Bread before making my tacos. Thank you." The cashier(in Spanish)proceeded to try to influence her manager into saying, "NO!" I was silently laughing to myself, porqué Intiendo y Hablo Español! Eventually, the manager agreed to go out of her way and grill the Flat Bread. Mind you, there isn't a Drive-Thru at this location, and I was the only customer in the restaurant. Isn't funny how I was treated as if I was inconveniencing them for 30 more seconds of their time? This has happened on 3 separate occasions. Taco Bell employees, "you don't own the restaurant, and you're not losing money for grilling Flat Bread." As a matter of fact, you're earning a competitive wage in the local Fast Food Market! This Taco Bell is close to my house, and as a 'Trained Chef,' I may not want to cook on my off days. Taco Bell Corporate,(or Franchise Owner), please teach your workers to Value Your Business.......
Read moreI've been here before and they did quite well. However, today, that was definitely not the case! There was only ONE person working in the back preparing food, and one cash register opened to take orders and she was getting the orders wrong. To avoid that, she should've repeated the orders back before placing them.
If that's not bad enough, there was a male employee standing there behind several people waiting to order, and a female employee behind the counter that was preparing food, whom had asked him what time did he start working and he repeated what she had asked him. She said, yes, what time do you start, and he says "5:30" (PM), so she asked can you start early and he said no, not until after I eat. And she paused and just stared at him briefly, shook her head, and continued preparing the one of the orders. He just stood there with all of those people waiting to place their orders, but couldn't because the cashier went back to help the lady that was preparing food all by herself.
We waited 30 minutes JUST to get a refund on a mistake that the cashier had made because the line was sooo long, and she was trying to get the line down by placing more orders, but that just created more people waiting for their food because only ONE person was making it.
That male employee has a LOT to learn about dedicated teamwork. This site needs to be seriously reevaluated by it's corporate office for employee conduct and customer...
Read moreI posted 4 months ago with 3 stars, I'll come back and revise daily until I get a manager to call or respond on here. I go to this location all the time, every time my order is incorrect or just poorly made. I'll stop going but will dedicate sometime of my day to make sure I post bad feedback anyway I can until this place apologizes for the money I spent here on bad food. The main cashier (African american lady) who's daily at this location has the worse attitude and probably shouldn't be working with any consumer interaction. Regardless, stay away from this spot. I've never seen a manager here, unless it's the lady I see all the time, this place is worse can't even imagine why they would care for the food more then the way they treat customers....
