Mehhh. My personal experience was probably only around a 2-2.5, but we came with a large party and it seems like I fared on the worse side of things, so I'll rate a 3.

My in laws and I were in town for an extended family reunion. We were looking for a place to have lunch before everyone gathered later in the afternoon. Originally we were just gonna DoorDash something to the hotel, but after finding our options kind of limited, we decided on this place because they had sandwich/wrap type options and an extensive selection for drinks, per the concierge at the hotel.

Even on a Saturday, they were able to accommodate our party of 8 quickly. It's a large restaurant and very open. As many others have noted, it is extremely loud inside even at half capacity, such that it can be a little challenging to hear party members. The atmosphere gives fairly standard bar/brewery vibes. Supposedly they have a lot of beers, but they were out of the kind of beer my father in law wanted.

I will give major credit to the waitstaff. It did take a touch long for our food to come out, but overall the waitresses were working hard, and maintained a pleasant and professional demeanor even after a touch of razzing from some of the older folks in our party (sorry, y'all!)

The food sadly wasn't anything special. Three out of the 8 people got the wings, and that seemed to be okay at least. Husband gave them a 3.5/5. The fries he ordered with them were also just okay, unobjectionable but not noteworthy.

My brother in law got some kind of Buffalo chicken sandwich and really didn't like it. Husband tasted it and agreed it was lacking. Basically no flavor to the chicken tenders at all.

I had the southwestern quesadilla with sweet potato fries. Neither wowed. The peppers were cut too large and were watery and cumbersome. The ingredients were distributed kind of oddly, so you'd get bites of just cheese, or just chicken, or just peppers, rather than a coherent whole. The sweet potato fries had basically no flavor at all. The honey dipping sauce that came with them improved things a bit, but I still felt very lukewarm about them. On the other hand, my husband's aunt also ordered them and really liked them, so YMMV.

Personally, I'd probably try another spot before returning here, but options are a little limited in this area so this may be your best bet depending on what kind of meal and atmosphere you want. Lots of people say they have great burgers here, so perhaps try...

While looking for a family friendly place to eat I found this place on google, food looked good from pictures. When we arrived the atmosphere was great, the workers were nice, food came out fast and was good. I don't know what went wrong after that, everyone at tables around us got asked if they needed drink refills but we kept getting passed up. I finally just had to raise my arm and ask the waitress to get us a refill. Then after we ate I promised my three year old she could have a milkshake, the waitress automatically asked us if we were ready to go. I said she wanted a milkshake and I wanted a banana pudding ( for me and my 1 year old to share), she looked annoyed I ordered dessert. The kitchen staff brought out the banana pudding but no mention of the milkshake. So I fed the banana pudding to my three year old and one year old while we waited on the milkshake. The waitress walked up asking if we were ready to go she said oh no you're not your milkshake, I'll get it. The kids finished the banana pudding, and we people watched for a bit. Eventually my three year old and I went to the restroom and came back to find out she FINALLY remembered to bring it out but no ticket to go. So we went to check out. It took them FOREVER to figure out how to open a new roll of paper for their ticket machine, took two of them to do it. The milkshake was melted no shake like consistency to it just soupy. We finally got to leave this place, We...

Picture of waitresses "working" currently; all on phone. There was a male over there, that I assume to be the manager, with his head propped also not working and when he is walking around the restaurant he is discussing, loudly and in very close proximity of the customers how he is about to be done for the night. My husband and I have had to go to them and ask for help twice. 3 tables of customers in restaurant, 9:12 is when we sat. Food was delivered promptly and was okay. Pork chops are deep fried. Far too much sauce on both sandwiches ordered but were very tasty. I also watched one waitress clear two tables by placing her hands directly in cups then directly return to deliver one of the tables of food; absolutely no time to wash hands after such a gross negligence. Our waitress did bring partial orders then the remainder of order which I appreciate as our food was very...

Went to Hops and Barley for our first time with my mother-in-law and father-in-law. They've been before and said everything was good from here, so of course we had to try it. Honestly, I believe them because everything we tried was fantastic! The fried pickles and potato skins were so yummy. My mom had grilled shrimp, they were soooo good. I had the fish tacos and sweet potato waffle fries, both were delicious as well. I think they were the best sweet potato fries I've ever eaten 😋 we went around 4 pm on a Saturday and it was not crowded, only a few other couples at tables. We were very comfortable talking and eating. We felt very welcomed, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend and will be returning!

Pleasantly surprised by this place! The food and service easily deserve more than five stars. My chicken sandwich was juicy and perfectly seasoned. I’m not a fan of mayo-based coleslaw—I prefer vinegar—but that’s just personal taste. The sweet potato fries with honey? Yes, please! His (yes, I stole a bite) was juicy, cheesy, and gooey in the best way—cooked to perfection with crispy toasted bread. The steak fries were a bit undercooked for my liking, but overall, everything was amazing. We’ll definitely be back to try more items from the menu! Last but not least, Katrina and her little helper were absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.
