Subway — Restaurant in Union City

Only giving 4 stars for cleanliness, delicious sandwiches, and the amazing Rosa that works behind the counter. Everything else is -5 stars lol. Today I decided to go in for a sandwich on my way home from work, I had gotten in line and Rosa started to help me with my sandwich when some other man/woman (not sure of their pronouns/gender preference) that works behind the counter decided to help the next man in line behind me. I was talking to Rosa saying I would like another sandwich besides the one she was making when she/he told me to move to keep the line moving. Completely rude, Rosa immediately looked embarrassed and apologized for his/her behavior. When I had gotten to the end to check out I pulled out a card that I don’t usually use and it got declined. Immediately after it said declined he/she started laughing at me. Again, Rosa apologized and urged me to go speak with the manager. After I payed for my food I went with Rosa to talk to the manager, he was very apologetic and gave me a refund for my food. I understand everyone has bad days, but when you feel discriminated against for no reason, it just hurts. He/she was perfectly polite to all of the male costumers behind me. Hadn’t been to subway in years, decided to stop into this one. I was intrigued by all the new menu options, so i needed a moment to read the menu. The sandwich maker Nicole asked me three times if i was ready to order. I told her the three of us needed a moment to read the menu. My daughter made her sandwich selection and placed her order while myself and companion continued to look over the menu. Nicole insisted that the three of us order all at once. I told her that i was not ready but the other two in my party were ready. She told me it was easier for her to do it all at once. I asked her if she was in a hurry since we were the only three customers in there. She got very snide with me and said she was not in a hurry but her way was easier for her. I told her that her way was inconvenient for me and i didn't want to be rushed. She got loud and started talking over me, asking my daughter “what do you want on your sandwich then”. Even tho my sandwiches were good as is every time, my review has to do with false advertising. We received coupons in the mail and on the front is advertising for Reuben sandwiches. When I got to the store they wouldn't take my coupons for my Reuben sandwiches. Now there was nothing on the coupons that said excludes Reuben sandwiches. The lady that was working there has made my sandwiches several times said this was the work of the owner. I don't know my law very well but have worked in the public before. My understanding is if it doesn't say excluded on the coupon they have to be accepted. I will be talking to a lawyer tomorrow on this and will demand restitution on what he says.
