This place is a bit too tight for our liking, and the makeshift set up is a bit wonky. We do not like the interior design to this eatery and did not notice seating to dine in. Yet, a business is a business, we suppose.
So, we just walked in just to throw something out and took some photos with having you dear ones in mind, as we were told to stay in the vehicle for reasons we will not get into.
Now, let us talk about the amazing portion size that they have for their foot long sub. It eats dry because of not having the appropriate acid to condiment to meat to bread ratios. However, you can make sandwiches upon sandwiches upon sandwiches with just one foot long! It is pretty amazing. Don't believe us?! Just take a gander at the pictures we took at our expense.
We were told that the sub was just $10! We were shocked.

Read moreIâve been going here for years, I thought it was a decent affordable place originally gave it a 5 star. The other day it was a little crowded people were talking to each other or ordering their sandwich in the line. It was a white tall guy standing behind me, I felt he was a little too close without telling him and he mustâve knew that from my energy , so he moved not a big deal but I continued listening to my son on the speaker phone, mind you everybody talking. The owner says what do my sign say, Iâm a little confused because it wasnât as if I was loud but It said do not order on the phone something to that affect, I already placed my order but what if the person on the phone wanted something, which I have done plenty of times, the fact he didnât notice that guy standing right on my back says a lot without saying anything seemed racist , Iâm a black female and he came for me, thatâs how I received it , all he noticed was the guy moving assuming it was from me being on the phone, if I wasnât distracted I wouldâve walked out. He called me up to pay for my sandwich and I left. I will never come to this establishment again and whomever I told about this place will never come here again either white and black Iâm friends with all . People are spending money you canât tell customers not to talk, people talk in line or sitting down eating. I was a...
Read moreI dont understand less then 5 starrs. Been coming here almost weekly since I started working in Union durin COVID. I get a half #52. with L,O,T,Vin,mayo and hot cherry's. I have always considered myself a sub snob. I travel all over NY and NJ tying to find the best sub and pizza. This place is my top 2. The other is near long branch. They are sooo consistent as far as size. A half for less then $7. Hot peppers add .50. A lot of the reviews here talk about the guy cutting the meat! Sometimes he seems grumpy or racist or.... People need to have thicker skin....He just old school. The guy dont stop. He knows every # on the board and is always on point. Sometimes I here him yell but thats what I like. Old school fogettabout it! He knows no color. Just needs you to say what ya want when busy. Today a girl came in and wanted a sloppy Joe he said what 2 meats. She said IDK, its for my friends just do roast beef. He said call them Im not gonna make a sandwich they dont like.... lol sure enough beef and turkey. He smiled and started slicing. When u stand on line its like being in a barber shop people laughing joking, always fun. I can 100% Say the whole place is my style. Old school great sanggguage! I wish I could do more then 5 stars. Check it out and juge for youself. Cash only but they got a not so...
