Style Sushi/Yasuo Ramen&Sushi — Restaurant in Union

Pros: The sushi here was VERY TASTEY. The service was EXCELLENT! Michelle took great care of me, she's very welcoming. This place looks clean and they have a huge selection of Sushi, other Japanese Food and a wonderful Asian Food Menu as well! I sat at the bar. They accommodated me nicely with a nice channel at the bars flat screen TV. Awesome place!! I felt very welcomed.

Cons: The menu was a bit confusing in the pricing aspect. Lotsv 50cent discounts lol? I also got 3 different menus. An Asian food menu, A Japanese menu and a Cocktail menu. Lol I want sure what was going on.

I ordered a miso soup and a small salad with ginger dressing as an appetizer however when the miso soup arrived it was served warm vs hot.

I asked for a spicy crunchy tuna roll, a eel cucumber roll and a salmon avocado roll (3 rolls for $12.95) which the soup or salad was supposed to already come with the meal but she ended up asking me if I wanted another soup or a salad ??? I told her I already have a soup and salad Infront of me lol but she insisted on me getting another side. I wasn't sure what was going on and I ddnt want to seem rude. So I ordered another miso soup this time for it to come hotter. It was hotter, but she ended up charging me for the extra soup which made no sense lol. I just laughed. But didn't it come with the meal? Why would u offer me another one? Idk. Lol

The sushi rolls were rolled a little small. Skimpy.

They gave me like 4 narrow slivers of pickled ginger and a small ball of wasabi. Not very generous lol.

One of the other waitresses was a little standoffish or maybe just too shy for the occasion lol idk maybe she's knew but she placed my meal like two seats away from me with like zero eye contact. I was confused. Lol

I’d like to start off by saying that I usually don’t write reviews but today I had no choice but to do so. Let me preface this by stating that I’ve had ramen from numerous places and I’m privy to what a good bowl of ramen tastes like. At first glance the interior seemed satisfactory and was very clean, which was probably the only positive aspect from my dine in experience. The food was an absolute let down; For appetizers we ordered the Gyoza, which was good, and the soft shell crab tempura, which was atrocious. The crab was not only over cooked but it also tasted extremely fishy and was fried in some batter that wasn’t tempura batter. Now moving on to the Ramen; we ordered the Cajun Seafood Ramen and the Hot and Dry Ramen, both of which were extremely disappointing. The Hot and Dry Ramen lacked any spice or flavor and the pork belly was very lean and had a rubbery texture, but the worst part was the Ajitama egg which was ice cold even after being in a hot bowl of ramen. The Cajun Seafood Ramen was anything but Cajun, the broth was bland and tasteless and the egg was ice cold. If you’re looking to have a good bowl of ramen I suggest you look elsewhere because you’re going to end up disappointed and writing a review much like this one...

They food was great good portions and excellent service. I had order from there before. They are on uber eats if you would like to try it before you go. The the Roman noodles are divine. my favorite to get bubble tea. The green tea one is my favorite. Their meal come with salad or soup. I love the miso soup and I recommend it more then other. They good but miso is their best. I Am falling a keto diet and this place was perfect for that. I had the tirayaki beef. The rice and vegetables comes on the side so it works. The salad ask for the dressing on the side so you can adjust how much you eat. The beef was nice juice and tender. The serving size was sufficient. My friend had chicken tirayaki and was super happy. The sushi was amazing. Super fresh and super delicious. She also order the shrimp tempora I can hear the crunch from across the table. The service was excellent. Didn't have to wait long for my server to come get our order. They came back to check on us a few times. The place is nicely decorated and super clean. They had a bar area that was empty. Hopefully they will have alcohol soon. For a now and again...
