From Scratch — Restaurant in Uniontown

The premium lattes are really good. The scones are so moist and full of flavor. The pepperoni rolls are good with that sweet bread taste. I rented the upstairs for my wedding reception. All the way up until that day the owner Jamie was so wonderful and she made sure to set tables up and chairs and just set up all the areas how we wanted. The day of she helped us with a ice bin and let us cut our rolls on her cutting board. She help with last minute things. She was tip tier amazing and she so sweet and funny. Full personality she has. She wants the best for people. Our wedding reception turned out amazing. The right price and we even tipped her the day after. We did our full cleaning except vacuuming and did all the garbage ourselves. We was fine doing our own clean up because the price was right for renting the upstairs. We bought a speaker and played our music over our phones over the speakers of the balcony. The space is great upstairs and she definitely needs to up her prices on the space to rent. She worked hard steaming the table clothes and the chair clothes, steaming the floors and making it all perfect. She should charge a clean up fee atleast because not everyone is considerate to clean messes up afterwards. But her premium lattes are better than 7brew, Starbucks and Dunkin. The price is perfect. This shop is unique to downtown Uniontown in that there is no other cafe/bakery/eatery of its kind, so it checks boxes of everything the downtown has been lacking in that department. Need to pick up lunch (the ingredients are locally sourced!)? Check. Want a upscale cafe-crafted coffee or espresso bar item? They got it. Want to learn to MAKE those baked delicacies? Take a class. There's so much good going on. The owner is talented, a local girl, community-minded, wears her heart on her sleeve... and did I mention this is all homemade? Oh, man... savor the flavor, friends! Try a peach "cookie" (Peschi Dolci!)... they're better than any peachie you've ever had, and a favorite. Eat inside (the dining area is so kid friendly). I do wish there were more vegetarian options (I pick the meat out of everything 😂 ...as a vegetarian in Uniontown, I'm used to it), but I'm happy...

I haven’t been feeling very “merry, and bright”. Going through the motion of the “season”. Trying to be a superhero of a mom with a list a mile long. I was struggling pretty hard yesterday finding the Christmas spirit. I had a bunch of errands to run, and I found myself making my last stop at The Corner Creamery LLC- Uniontown. The minute you walk in you feel like you’ve walked into one of those “hallmark Christmas movie” shops! Not only is it beautiful inside, the ladies working are just as great. It felt like “Christmas”. Although they were very busy, they took time to talk…listening. Telling stories, and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.
