Denny's — Restaurant in Unity Township

I went here for breakfast today with my bf and friends. This is the worst Denny's in the world. Poor to Fair as a rating is being too nice. It was downright deplorable.

For starters, we were seated near the fire exit door and noticed a pack of little flies flitting around on the windows that were probably cleaned last decade. Nothing like flies to set the mood for an appetizing environment.

Next, we all ordered the coffee which was barely drinkable.

Two of us also ordered waters. It took asking the waitress twice to get one and then one it arrived, it had some leftover food stuck to the rim.

I ordered the Bacon Avocado burrito which had not even a scant trace of avocado. I even took it apart and there was absolutely NO AVOCADO whatsoever on it. I asked the waitress for hot sauce and she brought me an empty bottle of hot sauce. Why is there even an empty bottle sitting around ? And can't you see that when you bring it out ?

The waitress was told this and she then brought another bottle of hot sauce out that actually had some hot sauce in it. But then to further the unsanitary train of events, the waitress was carrying a dirty rag in the same hand as the hot sauce !

Is Denny's in such bad shape they you don't train your wait staff on BASIC HYGIENE ?????????

This is the filthiest, most unsanitary restaurant I've ever been to. The food quality was pretty much the lowest grade I've ever experienced and tasteless to boot. We would have been better off eating a couple of cardboard sandwiches in an alley.

If you don't want to feel like eating garbage for breakfast, do yourself a favor and don't ever step foot in this SLOP HOUSE.

Overcharged me just a buck. Took 20 min to seat me and get my order wrong. 15 min to get my meal and corrected, so good job.[not sarcastic Understaffed, but it looked clean. Only 3 employees I could see. One of the multitasker middle age cook/manager?/server able to save the day and fill in and prevent a completely bad review, but still overcharged me..it happens. Gossipy employees, one swearing (is that the new 'professional'? I guess I can't relate since I had 3 bosses get fired/removed before I left. Not many in restaurant : 4-6? plus a few pick up orders. This is going on across America since CoVid19. One egg a little over cooked; Other okay [uneven grill?] Bacon very small. Biscuits and gravy surprisingly better than just ordering pancakes with sausage and bacon in gravy. Sakad well presented as if it was prepared in afvance. It's Dennys cafeteria food. You're not going to break the bank, but a reminder why I don't go out to Dennys. Stick to the mom & pops, the chains are now really just for pick up orders for people who don't have imagination or people like me just looking for the app offers. McDonalds suckered me in too for a while You just gotta say...

There was one very polite girl working. She WAS nice. No other staff out front. We asked for a table. She said she didn't have time to wipe it so we had to sit in a booth. I told her some of our party couldn't. The seats are too tight. She would not let us have the table. Also said that if Someone was sitting at the table next to it there wasn't room? There was no one at that table. She was the same waitress who sat us there a month before and we fit fine. No we won't be back. We went to Eat and Park where they had discount books. We got two for 2.00. Got to choose a TABLE. Waitress was very nice at Eat and Park. Food was good and came out fast. As for Denny's, I always try to look for the good. She was polite but was not giving in on that table which was redicilous. My hubby said he felt uneasy eating there if they were that short staffed. My daughter and granddaughter said I handled it very well. They thought she was being lazy. It wasn't busy. Don't go to Denny's on 30 in Latrobe. Go to Eat and Park where they...
