Don Patron Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Unity Township

Updated - Oct 2023 I tried this place for dine in (previously they were only to go meals) for the first time. The food was a totally different quality. The service was great and the taste was really better. I’m suspecting they are mostly experienced for dine in and not to go food :) However, the waiter kindly helped us with selecting a specialty and they brought us a ton of nacho and salsa. The burrito and chicken fajitas were great again.

Still I think it’s a bit overpriced. Not definitely the cheapest Mexican place.

My first time trying their food. I really liked their chicken fajita. The food was to go and got ready so quick. However they charged $2 more and I was in rush and realized a bit later. The portion of the main food was less than expected but the sides were for more than one person. Everything tasted fresh. To me it was overpriced compared to other Mexican restaurants.

Great food, with exceptional and fast service. We went with some friends on Cinco De Mayo and it was packed with a huge line out the door because it is so popular. It was well worth the wait. Highly recommend this Mexican restaurant.

20240315 Visited again, awesome restaurant, food is fabulous and prepared and delivered to your table in record time, not matter how busy they are. Everything is great, but I had the fish tacos which are really large and quite filling. I recommend them if you like fish tacos.

20240505 Visited for Cinco De Mayo and it did not disappoint. Great authentic Mexican food delivered fast.

Not the place for non-business pickup customers. Because the person answering the phone barely identified the business, rushed me off the phone, because the charge was at least $11 more than indicated by the posted online prices and because, while much of the food was tasty, the beef tips and strips were actually thin, dry, pieces and slices, none of the meals were labeled, making it difficult to distinguish one meal from another, I would not order pickup from Don Patrons again. The indifference they have shown to me as a customer in this segment of their operation, has me wondering about being an in-resturaunt customer again.
