The drivers at this location are always great, but the management needs some work. And so do the pizza ovens, apparently.
It usually takes like an hour and 20 minutes to get a pizza from the Olive/U.City Domino’s. But I was too lazy to cook or drive, & figured I’d deal with it. Wah, wah. Luxury problems. It only took about 20 minutes. Probably because they forgot to bake it.
I took a bite and it was nearly raw. Not undercooked, but doughy and sort of wet, like lumpy cake batter. Even the pepperoni on top was like uncooked bacon.Mistakes happen. Sure. But this was the second time this happened with pizza from this store. A couple months ago, same thing happened with deep dish. Those take forever to cook. No problem. Called the store. Manager was totally nice, apologized, and sent us one fully baked. This was just a medium, normal crust-type pizza. But this time not only was the manager horribly rude, I’m not even sure if she was a human.
When I called the store, someone yelled, “NO CALLER ID!” Into the phone and hung up on me. I though I’d called the wrong number, so I called back. Same voice, a girl, said, “NO CALLER ID!” And hung up before I could get a word out again.
So I called a third time. Same girl picked up, And I shouted over her, “DON’T HANG UP ON ME! I’M A CUSTOMER.” It was so quiet, I thought she’d hung up again.
“Hello?!” Not sure what’s up with your phones, but I had a problem with my order...”
After like three seconds, she said, “M’aam, we don’t take calls from people with private numbers without caller ID.”
We have bad cell reception in our house. It’s a landline. We don’t pay to be anonymous. Not much I can do about my phone anyway. So at this point, I may not have been at my friendliest when I finally got around to telling her the problem. When I finished. She didn’t say anything, so I said, “Are you there?”
Awkward pause. “Yes?”
“Who am I speaking with, please?”
Pause. Then she mumbles, “Management.”
“I mean, like a name.” Crickets. “Hello...”
“Kat. Manager,” she said. Whenever it was her turn to respond or answer a question, there was that sort of three-second delay you get on those robo-calls that are programmed to pretend to be real people.
So I asked her if the could send a new pizza, or credit my account or something, since what we had was inedible.
Finally she said, “If you ate it, we can’t give you a new pizza.”
I told her I took one bite. Spit it out and called the store. Three times.
More awkward robo-delay, the she said, “I can have someone come out with a new pizza, but they’ll have to check yours and take it back with them.”
Ducky! Whatever. It’s all yours. Three second delay. “Hello?!” Then... CLICK.
Not sure if they’re coming or not. I don’t feel much like eating now anyway. If she is human, “Kat. Manager” seems like the type to spit in your food. I feel bad that the driver has to come back again, though. Domino’s management keeps the delivery fees for themselves. I have no more cash to tip a second time.
I know this is a really long post over something silly. Given the store’s track record, it’s not like my comments are going to mean anything to whoever owns the franchise. If Domino’s Kat-Bot had offered jone apology, no matter how insincere, shown even a smidge of human concern, pretended to care, it would have been no big deal. Instead, I’m left with this horrible taste in my mouth and it has nothing to do with...
Read moreRUDE STAFF... their driver was running late so we had to wait and additional 20 minutes for our pizza. When he got here we noticed he didn't bring any of the sauces we ordered. He told me it wasn't his fault call the store. I called the store to complain that the sauces were missing and the chicken cold and she said let me let you speak to my manager. The female manager wouldn't get on the phone. She kept speaking through the girl who answered the phone. She said they would remake the order and send it back out but it would be about an hour. We wait and a second driver arrived but parked on the side of my building instead of on the front parking lot like most. I walked to the front and didn't see him. He calls and tells me, " can you hurry up, it's been 4 minutes I been waiting" I tell him I'm on the front and he states he is on the side like usual. So I walk around to the side and he says you must be new cause this where we always deliver. I say no! The first driver came to the front, he then takes the food out the bag and tosses it to me because he noticed it was a re deliver! I am a frequent customer of this store and have never had to deal with any of the problems I have encountered tonight. Tonight's staff is horrible and I will not be going to this location again! If I order pizza it will be anyone but them. Oh and they still...
Read moreI wish I could leave a 0 star review! They are insanely RUDE! Our order was incorrectly made and the crew member we spoke with was argumentative and said it was made correctly...Eventually she Looked at the order screen (I could here her mumbling my order) and realized the order Was indeed Wrong. She was unapologetic, rude and her tone was horrible. She didn't offer anything for our inconvenience until I told her that the additional 30min wait was really long and had to ask is there Anything they could do for this mix up. She offered a 2 liter...Ok...I decided to call and speak to a manager because I did not like how the interaction went...He basically told me I was holding him up and that Both Myself and His staff were Wrong....Seriously!!! He was horrible. He told me that I begged for a discount... His entire attitude was ridiculous, he and his staff are really Rude! He eventually hung up on me before finalizing my refund I had to call back and make sure the refund went through, he said he didn't know what I wanted because the conversation went on forever and he was confused. He then told me my refund would be returned to my card in 48hrs and Hung Up! I will be calling corporate as well as checking to make sure I receive my refund in the next 48hrs. WE WILL NEVER ORDER FROM DOMINO'S AGAIN.
I believe the manager I spoke with...
