I usually don't post bad reviews, however I feel it's the only way for them to fix the site. The website says 7.95 for a pepperoni pizza. If you actually click on the picture instead of the menu section that was updated just recently(May 24th) it says 8.95. I ordered 2 pizzas and my total came to 25.00. which is a Huge difference. I have not been there in a few years so I had no idea that they doubled their price since I was there last. The pizza was always really good for the price. The website is very misleading. I'm Not complaining about paying 12.50 for a pizza. I am complaining as a person should Know Exactly what they are paying before they pick up, as who in their right mind would walk out and not pay after the food was made on principle alone? I should have. The kid behind the counter stated that they have no control over it. Well, Someone Does! I understand that prices have gone up in recent years, however the website should be updated with the Proper pricing! They are still the cheapest pizza around. I will happily remove this review once it is fixed. Too many companies are doing this to draw people in, and not holding themselves accountable,as well as making excuses for the deception. They will Still rake in the money with current prices as they are still the cheapest around. They only except cash, so it's not like you would find out when you pay over the phone. This is not the only pizza place doing this either. Supreme in Sharon hill does it to. It's to bait customers, and it's Wrong! I will not be going back there on principle alone. However,I will gladly remove this review when the website is fixed with the...
Read morei have lived around the corner from imperial for 35 years and grew up on it, sadly it is just not thatgood and it's one benefit, price, is no longer a game changer. it used to be you couldn't beat the pizza for the price and that remains somewhat true today, except if the pie is 16" in diameter 4 of those inches is bare crust. they have just cut too many corners and really are not cheap enough to justify it thesedays. example, on tues at thunderbird 2 i can pay the same price for a large dirty pizza that blows imperial out of the water. anyway the main reason i just wrote this was out of the blue i decided to get their meatball grinder because allmenu said it was $3.95, turned out it was $4.95 but that is not the problem, the problem was i basically just ate bread and sauce, making matter worse was it was just the tomatoey sauce they use on their pizza. this sandwich is seriously the worse thing i ever ate at any pizza joint ever. i know ppl will say they are not known for that and i agree, but this was such a disgrace for $4.95 they should remove it from the menu. besides as i said their pizza is pretty bad which is why i got the meatball grinder. sadly a relic from my childhood which i will never return to....
Read moreEvery out-of-Delco friend calls this “Delco Pizza” and Imperial really deserves more credit than they usually get. It’s always consistent quality, always fast, and the guys working there are great. Remember to bring cash to pay, their hours are awesome if you work late or are out at the bar longer than expected. I don’t know why people don’t like the cornmeal under their crust, but it means they get a great rise on their dough in a super high temp oven and your pizza is done fast. It’s almost always ready in the time it takes me to call and then walk out my front door and drive there to pick it up. Still under $10 for a pizza with two toppings, which is insane with food prices, and is exactly the right price range for this pie.
Is it the best pizza you’ll ever have? No. Is it the best pizza you can find after 11pm? Pretty much, always. Is it a great, Delco, family-owned, small business you should...
