Pat's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Upper Darby

Ordered with a co-worker last week. We were in the mood for tuna but needed a place that delivered. Decided on Pat's. Thought "Who could mess up tuna?" Well...it looked like is had pieces of carrot in it. It had an odd flavor like maybe they used mayo and vinegar. We couldn't figure it out but we were not liking it. My co worker ordered a tuna sub. I didn't want anything that big. Just a sandwich. They didn't have just a sandwich on the menu but I asked if I could get one. Person taking the order said sure. My co-worker's sub was so heavy...packed with tuna for $10. My sandwich was maybe one scoop of tuna on 2 slices of bread with lettuce and tomato. The tuna didn't even reach the edge of the bread. I looked at the receipt and I was charged $11! They placed the order as a club sandwich and customized it to only 2 slices of bread and no bacon but full price. It was huge rip off and we decided we will not order from...

Unreal.. I got a square pizza (17") and 20 boneless wings. With delivery, the total price was ...

And the wings that I ordered (hot), the flavor is terrible.. the heat is there for being almost too hot, but the sauce is lacking. Very bland. Which is hard to do.. how do you get the capsicum ("heat") of the peppers, but absolutely zero flavor? And then burn the sauce to boot.

The only reason for 2 stars is the fact that the pizza saved the day. If you guys are cooking your own hot sauce, I would just start buying Texas Pete's, and save the time and frustration with having to settle for a burnt batch, to sell out to customers.

If your not making your own hot sauce, stop leaving the bowl on the grill, and just toss them in the room temp sauce... they are cold by the time they get to destination, Anyway. At least mine were. You charge way too much money to make...

This pats has THE BEST Italian subs I have ever had, hands down!!!!!! I can't rave about this sub enough. It tastes so fresh and they don't skimp on the meat, absolutely delicious. I don't live in the area, I only get something when I'm visiting, but I make it a priority to stop at this pats. They are the bomb, 100% recommended.

Update Italian hoagies are still awesome as always. I stopped by here on my way back from a family barbecue in Philadelphia, and I've noticed there's holes in the seats all throughout the restaurant, even at the front where you sit horizontal to wait for your food if you ordered it to go. You guys really need new seating!! That looks bad. The whole place is clean though. Pizza looks delicious. If the owner reads this, please take more pride in how the furniture in your restaurant looks. It really makes a difference when it comes to enticing the customers to stay and...
