They should change or remove their phone number if they have no intention of picking up the phone. 9/10 times I call, they never pick up. Doesnât matter what day or time. This location is run by Punjabis, so youâd think they would train their staff to be more hospitable, but no, they are very rude to customers and have racist undertones. For example, I was in the store a few months ago and there was an African lady that was paying for her order at the register. I recall her asking for a drink before paying, and then she paid, but the cashier didnât give her a cup. So the lady stood there waiting for a cup, and then she spoke up saying she wants her drink? And the cashier refused and said that her order doesnât come with a drink. Would it really have been that hard for the cashier to say âoh sorry, I didnât hear you wanted a drink so I didnât ring it up. Thatâll be $x.â The cashierâs attitude made it awkward not only for the customer, but for me as a witness. I even spoke up about it to the lady that was making my sandwich, and she said âShe (the customer) does this all the time. We just ignore it.â Youâd think as a fellow immigrant, the workers would be more kind to the other customer due to language barriers.
Also, as with other reviews, I agree this location shows a lot of attitude for the most basic things. Oh you want extra cheese? Attitude. Oh you want your meat heated up first? Attitude. You want sauce on the sandwich first? Attitutde. I always leave a tip, but after this behavior I wonder if I should even bother leaving a tip.
Furthermore, they need to fix how their stuff shows on Doordash. Itâs dumb that we canât specify if we need less or extra of certain...
   Read moreSooooooo I haven't had Subway since BEFORE the pandemic...way nefore so we are taling maybe 3 or 4 years. Said to myself, I think I'm going to stop in and have a Subway sandwich. When I walk in I had questions with the menu because one sandwich was $5.99 then it went to $10.99 and then $14.99.. There is nothing on the menu that gives you the size for each price. So I asked older lady on what was the difference. She told me 6 inch and 12 inch...ok but there are 3 PRICES..she kept repeating 6 inch or 12 inch.. FINALLY-- she mentioned the $14.99 was for extra meat but had a complete attitude at this point. As she is making my sandwich I am asking what cheeses were of choice since there wasn't any signage on the different cheeses...she starts banging on the counter reciting the cheese choices. I was Baffled at this point. I explained to her not everybody has been to Subway and it's been some years since I've been here and me asking questions for her to make my sandwich should not bother her and if she doesn't like her job then she should get a new one..never going to 69th...
