We decided to stop by Westside grill and enjoy a holiday drink at the bar. We arrived we found two spots at the bar immediately. We sat down & it took 11 minutes for us to be greeted and asked what we wanted to drink. I ordered the sugar plum. According to the cocktail menu it was to include vanilla infused disaronno, luxardo cherry syrup & coconut cream. These are all things I like very much. There was no vanilla infused disaronno, It was just regular disaronno. (Do not list on your cocktail menu a specific liqueur and then not offer it without at least telling the guest you no longer have it). The bartender mixed it up and under mixed and didn't have enough to fill the glass so she topped my glass off with soda!!!!. If I had wanted a soda drink I would have ordered one. I don't drink soda especially with top shelf liquors. If soda was to be part of a drink it should have been listed on the cocktail menu. I noticed the bartenders were also responsible for waiting on tables as well. In a high-end restaurant with top-notch drinks and top-notch food, bartenders should be responsible for the bar only. The bartenders also had to do their own running for more alcohol and wine. With a restaurant of this caliber you absolutely need to have a bar back, a bar runner and an expeditor. Bartenders should be responsible for the bar not serving customers at various tables around the restaurant. Both my husband and I noticed that while we were waiting for our first drink order, people were getting their second drinks refilled. We had planned to have a second drink but I was so full with my "soda cocktail". We left after 1 drink. Your restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, The atmosphere is very nice, The bar is very nice & seats are very comfortable. Your bar has a wonderful selection of well, call, top shelf, and premium liquors. This was my second time coming to the bar at the Westside grill once again I was underwhelmed which does not make me want to come back and drop $200 on dinner...

We all had high expectations as our company is located next to the hotel and restaurant and we use as well as recommend both consistently. Unfortunately this was not the case, as our order was messed up on three occasions. Initially we called in the order and were told that it would be ready at 11:45pm. Shortly after placing the order we were called and advised that the meat could not be cooked raw as it was shredded, we understood and accepted the steak as medium. At 1145pm we arrive to pick up our order. To our surprise our order was never processed. Per the hostess she was not sure we confirmed the order, this was absurd as we had spoken to her 2 times and provided payment. There was no other follow up call needed. After reordering we are told to come back at 12:45pm. After our second trip we arrive at the office now an hour later than our lunch time. When we distribute the food we notice there was no fries for one of the main platters. We call and report this issue. Again we speak to the hostess who tells us to call back at 2pm to talk to a manager. I find this absurd as they messed up and should take the responsibility of following up with the customer. However I again oblige and call to speak to the manager, only to be told that he/she was on a virtual meeting! I wanted to laugh, how does a customer who has now been inconvenienced multiple times have to keep chasing the manager, this is not McDonalds, I expected a lot more from a so called high end restaurant. But it gets better, when I go and check my card statement I see that I was double charged for my order. This was just the cherry on top! Even tough days later the double charge was cleared, the frustration and lack of follow up had already ruined my dining experience. I had upcoming brunch reservations and decided to cancel. This lack of service needs to...
Read moreMy partner and I came here for sunday brunch after finding out about this place by doing a google search for brunch spots in the area. We drive my The Hyatt off of 222 all the time and had idea this restaurant existed inside. We LOVED it! It is so modern and beautiful inside. The light fixtures are so swanky, the color palette is cozy and modern, the seating was comfortable and spacious. Our server, David, has a great personality, very friendly. Upon introducing himself he asked if we wanted an explanation of the setup or if we wanted to go on a tour. A tour? Sure, why not? We journeyed back through the dessert station, and the carving station, and pasta and omelet station and waffles, and then further back and around the corner was another alcove filled with dill smoked salmon, bagels (there were rainbow bagels! beautiful!) and plump sausages, thick bacon, large cocktail shrimp, loaded mashed potatoes, eggs, an assorted meats and cheese selection, beer battered cod, chicken marsala, eggs, and some other items I can't recall. All to say, the quality was really above what I've had at most other brunch buffets I've had prior. At the carving station there was the option of prime rib or Jaindl turkey - Jaindl is the tastiest and most expensive turkey I've ever eaten in the past. I was impressed by the array of foods, the quality of foods, and the service was amazing. We always had what we needed to enjoy our meal. Our cups were never empty, we were checked in on multiple times to make sure there wasn't anything we were lacking, and the people who work there just seem nice. I like that a lot. I like nice people. I would definitely come back here. Maybe for brunch again. Maybe I'll try dinner. They have a pretty bar area, as well, so even cocktails here...
