I just wanted to highlight the professionalism of the staff at Hamilton Ave Walgreens Pharmacy. This review was because of a call I made to them on Friday Oct 25th 2024 in the PM.
First, I have to say that almost every time you call them for assistance, you will most likely be put on hold for a few minutes. They are always busy, and it is ok with me. But when itâs your turn, they will help you out 100% and wonât rush you off the phone. For this particular day, Lei picked up my call and helped me tremendously. I have always had an issue with one of my prescriptions for the past year or so. She stayed on the phone with me for a long time, listening to me and my problem and fixed my issue where I would not have this headache occur again. Thank you for that !!
Reane also surprised me once by calling me by my name as I approached the counter, and I have only interacted with her just a few times. She always has this big smile too.
Vi has helped me out many times as well throughout the year. Shoutouts to Raji, Amanda and possibly others that I may have missed. I hope that I spelled everyone's name correctly.

   Read moreI normally prefer walgreens to other pharmacies. During this visit seemed like the person that appeared to be manager on duty was frazzled. He kept asking where employees were. Why weren't they here or there to help customers, when they apparently were where they were suppose to be given the time of day.(suppose to go to pharmacy at 2pm. It was 220 when he was asking) He was asking other employees where his other staff member was. I would think that should be his job to know here they were. Door of the women's handicap stall had a hole in it where the previous lock was broken out. Paper towel dispenser was broken and the floor was dirty. Other customers asked me questions about items. Previously they found that the pharmacy staff was unable to help them. Other customer ended looking up information online. I walked past 3 different staff members none of which asked if I needed help finding anything. Overall not what I have come to expect when I visit a Walgreens. Would probably not go back to...
   Read moreI received a text messaged that the prescription was in but I was out of town. I called the pharmacy that I would pick up on a certain date 3 days later because of my work schedule. The person I spoke to had a very hard to understand accent. I was worried she didnât understand but I heard her say there would be a note on the bottle. I came in on the date I said I would, and they did not have my prescription. The person that waited on me said she would need to talk to the pharmacist. I waited 15 minuets because she was on the phone. Then someone stopped in to say hi to her and I waited another 10 minuets while they chatted, never making eye contact with me while I stood there waiting. When I finally received my prescription, I was told that they donât take phone calls asking for things to be held and that they knew nothing of the phone call I spoke of. I told them the time of day, the date and a description of the voice of the person I spoke to. Worst customer...
