This is MOST DEFINITELY the WORST Ledos location on the ENTIRE Maryland map. Let's start with the little girl taking orders/ answering the phones. Customer service is not for everyone, and by everyone I mean her. If I am placing an order the last thing I wanna hear is when or how promptly you lock your doors. IDC...Class is in Session for customer service #101- If a customer is PAYING the ONLY thing they care about is what they are PAYING for. If the establishment hours don't work for you, as far as making sure you can provide quality customer service without sounding like a robot, then find something else that does. Ledos has a WEBSITE that lists HOURS OF OPERATION, therfore those of us who can and actually do READ already know this location closes at 9p.m. We dont need nor want your programmed reminder.
I placed my order at 8:40 ( I wasn't worried about the 9 p.m. curfew the little girl heavily enforced because I only live 5 min away) needless to say I arrived at 8: 52, my pizza wasn't ready yet. I paid and waited. At 8:58, the little girl closed her area, grabbed her purse and pushed the swing door open to the kitchen demanding one of the cooks immediately box my order so she could go.
Once boxed and handed over to me, I opened it to make sure it was correct. The pizza literally looked thrown in the box. Toppings, sauce & cheese just a mess, one row was completely damaged, no one would be able to eat a slice by holding it.
I told the little girl I didn't want the pizza due to how poorly it was made and boxed.
The manager ( April) had the cooks to remake my order while offering items such as a soda or cake while I waited. I declined. All I desired was to receive quality and what I paid for.
If this location is adamant about sticking to having everything done and completely closed down by 9p.m then they should STOP taking orders early enough to ensure that goal is meant and customers/ orders aren't being disappointed or rushed.
It's sad to have a local restaurant no one wants to support because of things that can be fixed or should never have happened in the first place. I should not have to drive to the surrounding Ledos pizza locations just to get good customer service and my food cooked correctly.
DO BETTER or CLEAN...
Read moreThe Ledos on Main Street in Upper Marlboro MD is one of the worst Ledos ever. I have had too many bad experiences and last night was the icing on the cake.
A couple months ago I ordered dinner for my family which was called in. The receptionist was rude and didn’t seem like she paying me much attention as she asked me several times to repeat myself. My dad picked up the order on his way home which he arrived without one of the pizzas we ordered. He leaves back out to grab the pizza as I called and spoke with the manager April who told me it would be ready upon arrival. Well of course when he got there it wasn’t ready but not to mention there were other things missing from the order. The spaghetti and meatballs we ordered didn’t have any meatballs. I called April back and she insisted we return for the meatballs. I arrived in which she did give me the meatballs in a to go box. Upon arriving back home, I opened my steak and cheese to see burnt EXTREMELY overcooked bread. Of course, I gave April a call back but this time for a full refund as our dinner was ruined. Well after making 3 trip back and forth to Ledos for one order we decided not to return.
After a few months, I decided to try again last night. I regret that decision. My spouse and I ordered 2 Hot Grilled chicken salads. Simple as we thought it would be; it was everything BUT. My spouse called in the order around 4:30pm. He arrived at the Ledos around 5 for pick up and they told him it would not be ready for another 15 minutes. He waited in the car for 20 minutes before going back inside. The reception then said they would need another 15 minutes. Now IDK what the issue was on timing but the assumption is they never put the chicken on the grill. He waited inside this time only to bring home under cooked chicken on a salad without all the listed toppings.
I am DONE with this restaurant completely. They lost me as a customer and I am extremely disappointed in the consistent let down from the Upper Marlboro Main Street location. My suggestion would...
Read moreAbsolute worst service! They offer curbside service and acknowledge that their online CHECK IN process doesn’t work. You must CALL to check in. How are patrons to know that fun fact?? If/When you get tired of waiting and GO IN to find out whats going on, you can pick up your cold, soggy pizza that has been sitting on the counter and not under a heating element of any sort for who knows how long. GOING IN to get your pizza defeats the reason for CURBSIDE PICKUP! No answer, no apology, just silence.
I ask for the manager and the clerk ducks into the back. Ms. Deb, an older 60ish woman comes out to ask me what the problem is. After she hears my complaint she defensively replies: “I don’t know anything about the computer stuff!”. She failed to offer an apology or solution to my frustration. I asked how long my pizza had been sitting on the cold counter and she replies: “How am I supposed to know?!”. Uh... I don’t know, maybe you should keep track of that stuff, afterall, you serve food to the public. knowing how long food has been sitting out should be part of the process. Yuck! Not acceptable. Then she begrudgingly offers to remake the pizzas and follows that up by saying: “You gonna wait for it?”. Uh no thank you. I’d rather not have spat on pizza.
Bad service comes from the top down so I imagine their other locations aren’t much different. Sad and disappointing because their cauliflower crust pizza is pretty good but not worth it. I won’t be back, bad service, no, not bad — HORRIBLE service should not...
