I ordered two breakfast platters for take out. I asked that the eggs be scrambled medium w/cheese, and for white toast on both and a side order of grits. When I arrived, only one platter was made and the woman (owner/manager) said she only wrote one. So she told the cook to make another one. When she handed me the second box I didn't check it because the first one was perfect. When I got home I realized the second one (that wasn't made when I arrived) had well-done scrambled eggs that started to brown from the additional time on the griddle, and my toast wasn't included. I live about 20 mins away, so I called to let them know about the issue. Their answer was to, "Bring it back so the cook can look at it." I explained that I have a meeting to attend and wanted to alert them so they could take my name and maybe give a small discount off my next order (I have gotten Saturday morning breakfast for my family at least once a month for the past 10 years). She said, "Bring it back so we can look at it and make you a new one." So another 40 mins to have them "look" at something when they could just provide a good customer service response like, "We are so sorry (since she didn't apologize for the error of not preparing both platters in the first place) about that. Give me your name and the next time you come in we'll take 20% off your order." This isn't a huge deal, but on principle I am disappointed. This shouldn't be a deal breaker, but I hate poor customer service and won't be patronizing them again. Sigh....now I need to find a new...

Ordered an omelet. My mom got scrambled eggs and corned beef hash. Both got coffee. The omelet was dry, thin as paper and only kept together by a slice of cheese. The meat inside was disappointing as well. I've never ordered a non-sandwich egg dish served with chopped lunch meat. It tasted old and threw off the flavor of the plate. The "home fries" tasted like they were leftovers from the day before that was cut from a casserole tray and thrown in the microwave. The wheat toast and jelly shouldn't be the best part.

Mom wanted her eggs soft scrambled... Dry, chopped scrambled. Corned beef hash? They're already from the can and require minimum effort! But extra effort was made to cut these down by adding larger chunks of potato and extra veggies. Was also thrown into some baking pan to make it easier to precut and microwave. Not very tasty at all. Glad she let me try hers bc I considered ordering some to go and immediately changed my mind after tasting. Home fries? Probably cut from the same tray as mine. She didn't finish, took it to go, and gave it away. The coffee: watered down.

At least give the ILLUSION of freshness by reheating on a stove and shuffling the food around a bit! It wasn't even busy and makes cutting corners even worse. This was a bad representation of what a local business is capable of. The effort in that kitchen was below minimal and food not worth the $42 the charged. We would have been better off making breakfast at home and probably should have. Our server was nice though. That's who the second...

I came in with my family and stood for quite a while before anyone even bothered to speak and assign us a seat. We sat ourselves down amd waited 10 minutes before a waitress even took our order. 5 minutes after our order, they told me they were "out of waffles". I asked how are you out of belgian waffles if it's the same batter as pancakes and the girl had no answer for me. Three families came, sat down, ordered, ate, paid and left before we even recieved our food. I asked the waitress why did those families order the same thing and get here after we did but we haven't been served yet and she said they read the order wrong. When our food came out one order was wrong and the waitress blamed it on my lady when the menu clearly says that what it includes. Our waitress never came and asked if the food was ok or if we needed refills. We asked another waitress for a refill of coffee. She never came back. When we finished our meal it took an additional 20 minutes to get the check. Maybe we just didn't have great servers but for my first experience the customer service was horrible. Food was okay. Not worth...

Hands down one of my favorite breakfast joints. Breakfast foods are simple and easy to mess up. Marlboro Grille has it down pact. I've yet to find something I didn't like and the only time my order was "wrong", it was still delicious. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and got a platter instead. All the ingredients were right, just one piece of toast. I assume they ran out of wheat as it was a Saturday morning, but after months eating here, I could tell they threw in extra scrambled eggs. Always a good choice for a delicious and quick breakfast. Make sure you try the homefries, they're perfectly seasoned! Oh, and I love whoever writes the names on DoorDash bags (I underline things the same way lol) and them hearts and/or "Thank you!" notes bring a smile to me every time! So, thank you all at Marlboro Grille, y'all make my mornings whenever I order!

I was a little mislead when I first googled the place. They have pictures of the old menu. I seen the $3.99 price for breakfast sandwiches and pulled right on up. I’m from Jersey and pay $3-4 for breakfast sandwiches/bagels so I’m always looking for similar places. Probably wouldn’t have stopped if I seen $6.99 per sandwich. BUT the food, the service, and the location was amazing. I didn’t plan on spending $25 on breakfast but it was worth it. If I’m ever back on this side of town I will stop back in to try the French toast, and the pancakes. They look delicious online.
