A quick dinner decision to Lapedella. Neighborhood place but always forget it. Seated right away, great server sorry forgot her name. Had appetizer , cypress. Tom and Motz. Mrs had crab and pasta. Plenty of time to eat, not rushed. Dinner was Chicken Marcella. The best I have ever had. My favorite. The chicken was perfect and the paste as well. The sauce was delicious. The mrs had pasta, I owi. And she loved it Coffee and dessert and the dinner is done. Just amazing. We will be back again. I would recommend u try it you won't be disappointed. Even had a appearance from the busy chef Nick. Now I know why it was delicious. Hes cooking. Thank you. After seeing reviews regarding health dept inspections had to comment. Any one who worked in a restaurant when they were younger or even now understands the rodent battle. Every place has issues. Regarding the other the nick picking by a health dept that we didn't need for years and we survived. Just justifying there job..So try the place.before u sit behind your computer and bash them. They are working hard to.support...

I was so excited and optimistic going in..... However, LaPadella gets 2 👎👎. Where to start...I wouldn't call myself a wine snob, but I know my wine and I should have walked out after I saw Canyon Oaks as their red wine by the glass selection (yuck). I ordered the frutti de mare for $26 and I actually had to ask the waitress if it was the adult portion. Anywhere else this might have been called an appetizer. It literally had about 1/2c of grossly over-cooked and tasteless pasta, 2 shrimp, 2 clams, 2 mussels, and 2 really overlooked scallops. The "bass" was nowhere to be found and the calamari was microscopic but I might have eaten a couple? I left ready to eat dinner - I was so hungry😟 My husband had the Bronzino ($24) on some orzo with no additional side and the kids had kid portions of pasta which were larger than my "adult" portion. We ALL cleared our plates and had not a piece of pasta to bring home. I'm sorry but that has NEVER happened eating at an Italian restaurant before. And the bill was over $100 (we also had a calamari appetizer and a glass of wine). So...

Great spot in Media after being everywhere else thrice... Unassuming from the outside but decently well kept on the innards. Lots of geometric wall art and creamy colors throughout. They managed to hide large edible chocolate squares in plain sight that they will randomly carve chocolate off of to atop their desserts (by request only). A little noisy during some of our visit but let the Italians be Italian. 4 stars for ambiance. Their food is really good. I can recommend the short rib for an entree; boneless, tender and cooked to perfection with a generous portion size. 5 stars for foods. Their wine list was fine but their tap list left much to be desired. Their water was ice cold and the glass stayed full. 4 stars for liquids. Our server did his best but he wasn't very familiar with the food menu or the drink menu. Overall I'd say it was 3.4 star service but since Google is on a full star rating system, I must go down to 3 stars for service. 4 stars overall. I'll be...

Very good food and excellent service. For apps: We had the meatball and the fried Brussels sprouts. Both were very good. The Brussels sprouts with pork belly were awesome. Crispy and flavorful. For entrees: I had the porch chop which was alright. It was a good cut, but I wished it was seasoned a bit more. The potatoes were cooked very well, but the summer squash seemed to be too soft. Still tasted good but not the consistency I was hoping. (My fault for not ordering pasta at an Italian place haha) other members all had pasta which was reportedly very good and cooked perfectly. The desserts all looked great, but the tiramisu shined the brightest. It was firm and creamy as it should be instead of the soggy stuff most places serve. All together a great experience and I’m sure we will be back!

Great hidden gem of media. Classic Italian fare, with some interesting twists. Portions were good. I ate half and was full and did not order appetizers. They have an amazing dirty martini(dirty padella) with garlic stuffed olives that was delicious and smooth I ordered a Cajun parpadell and my girlfriend order the Frutti Di Mare. Both meals arrived at the table steaming and delicious. The shrimp cooked to perfection. We split the berry sorbet for dessert and it was delicious. It went well with coffee and Guinness alike. Also don't skip the bread and oil. This simple and common table addition it executed to perfection.

I initially located La Padella doing a Google search for “Top Restaurants in Media”…checked out the menu and was sold. My family and I came after my son’s football game with the Rose Tree Colts (his team won by the way 😉)… so glad I came across this gem! From the moment we stepped inside, the manager was so kind and accommodating. Our server was no different! The food was amazing! From the lemon pepper shrimp + Brussels appetizers to our entrees…and of course dessert.. everything was top-notch! Would highly recommend!!!
