Old State Tavern — Restaurant in Upper Providence Township

Jane is an ignorant person no matter what I go in there for she is always rude. I went to get lunch for the guys at work today she did nothing but give me an attitude and slamming the receipt book after I asked her for two orders of fries with my order. She told me I cant have a burger or any thing hot cause there is no cook remind you its 12 PM! I have always been nice to her and have never given her a reason to be nasty to me. When she was cooking she did nothing but slam and bang in the kitchen and when she came out she slammed the box on the bar ! When I said have a good day she mumbled under her breath and rolled her eyes remind you I left a tip and all !!! This place is always dead I...

This is a really good place for a neighborhood bar friendly faces and that type of place where you want to go to after work just for a drink it's also good for a quick snack for a dinner they make great lunches here too as you can tell I've been here many many times the waitresses are nice and polite the bartender is always grape and well add versed in different drinks I definitely would recommend this place not just for lunch with business associates dinner as well as a date night prices are not expensive at all food...

This place is like a white trash emporium. It's a shame, because the space is nice, it's relatively clean, but the last few times I've been there, I've heard racist comments and the word "retard" a bunch of times. I've been there several times when working late, but I think I'm done now, because the bartenders are almost never friendly, and some of the patrons have gotten in my face a few times for no good reason. The words "dirtball magnet" come to mind. I advise people to go somewhere else for late...
