Paola's Kitchen — Restaurant in Upper Saddle River

Paola’s Kitchen is definitely a Must-Try! I recently visited and it was amazing! The Chicken Caesar Wrap was fresh and tasty, and they even customized it just the way I wanted without any fuss. The Birria Tacos were out of this world—juicy, flavorful, and simply delicious.

What really blew me away was the service. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience. Hands down, some of the best service I’ve had in a while.

On top of that, they accept all forms of payment, including Apple Pay, which is super convenient. Plus, there’s plenty of seating, so you never have to worry about finding a spot. And let’s not forget the prices—they were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

From the moment I caught the first scent from Paola's Kitchen, I was transported. Gone was the corporate garage it's secretly located in; in its place, I was whisked away to a vibrant Caribbean or Latin American plaza. My second reaction? Opening the box of tostones—fried to crispy perfection. Dipped in what I'm now calling Paola's famous "orange half-mojito deliciousness" (seriously, that sauce!), I was already saying "Wow!" before even touching my main course. And the main course delivered! My pechuga a la parrilla with black beans and rice was seasoned just right. But, of course, that famous sauce elevates everything to another level. Honestly, this review could just be about the sauce—it's that good. A delightful surprise was the side of maduros that came as a sweet, unexpected gift. Paola's Kitchen is a true gem!

Placed order and was told it would take an hour to deliver. When we called to complain (at the 1.5hour mark) we were told they were busy and our order was still there. At 2 hours we called and complained, they gave us a discount and the delivery showed up a few minutes later. The discount didn't make up for the lukewarm food, or the 5 hangry people waiting for it. Oh, and the tricolor pasta salad was one color, and had bacon in it. Which made it inedible for the vegetarian...
