Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Uvalde

I am from the Clear Lake area, just south of Houston. Originally from Galveston, I grew up loving Pizza Hut. Over the years I can’t say I have had pizza from Pizza Hut in a really long time. It became way too greasy and not very good at all. Needless to say I never frequent the Pizza Hut locations near me in the Clear Lake/Webster area for this very reason.

However, while in Uvalde a few weeks ago My Hubby and I went to the Pizza Hut there. We haven’t been to a sit-down dine-in Pizza Hut in many, many years so I must say I wasn’t expecting a good outcome, To my delightful surprise the pizza at THIS Pizza Hut was amazing. Of course, we got the thin crust because “back in the day” no other thin crust pizza compared, and this pizza was really really wonderful!! The crust was perfect! The ingredients were fresh and it was not a big greasy slimy mess! The service was excellent and very welcoming! We really loved it and will absolutely go back the next time we are in Uvalde!

Soooo... Thank you staff and pizza chef at the Uvalde Pizza Hut!! You totally deserve recognition for keeping Pizza Hut at the exceptional quality I remember it being in my youth! Thank you!! You guys should be a training facility!!

On another note, we liked it so much when we returned to Clear Lake/Webster area we stopped at Pizza Hut on Bay Area Blvd... unfortunately I really think they need lessons from the Uvalde team!! We won’t go there again. Just a real disappointment. Guess we will just wait til our next...

I ordered online and went to pick up my wings on time. (about 30 mins after I placed my order) After I paid for my food the cashier handed me the receipt and didn't really say much. Then I asked her if my order was ready and she said the other girl would get it. I stepped aside not knowing what else to do and waited. I watched as the cashier went about getting drinks for dine-in tables and the other girl who was supposedly getting my order. I saw her peek inside some heat bags and then cut some pizza for an order. As I waited I noticed a gentleman go up the register and he had an annoyed look on his face. He stood there for a while before anyone acknowledged him so I can only assume he'd been waiting for a while for his order. I got tired of waiting, too, and asked the cashier again about my food and she then asked someone else about it. The girl, who had been cutting pizza, then told her that my order was there in the heating bag, ready to go. It seemed that the cashier just assumed that the other person would give me my order but I don't think I ever saw her tell anyone to do so.

The wings were subpar and the service even more so. I've only ordered from this Pizza Hut a few times and each time has been a disappointment. I don't plan on...

Went in with my son and Dad and we were the only people there. I saw 2 people working in the kitchen area but we were waiting at our table for atleast 10 minutes and nobody greeted us or took drinks or anything. It seems silly to fuss over 10 minutes but WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE THERE! it really sucks knowing i love the food at pizza hut but wont be going anymore because of how bad the service has gotten there. After that 10 minute mark I got up to go and complain/place my order AT THE REGISTER instead of being waited on by someone, and even then the workers disappeared in the back and i couldn’t even get the chance to complain.
