Made a quick stop at this seemingly cute coffee shop that I stumbled upon by chance. The windows were tinted with marketing showing examples of items available to order inside. The shop is near a corner with a parking lot. Seating was available inside with bar stools against the window as well as regular tables and chairs.

The space was well-lit with hanging bulbs throughout the ceiling creating a modern ambience. It was a busy place with noise and chatter amongst the tables.

I ordered a chai latte frappe for myself and a green tea latte frappe for my partner along with one of the cinnamon rolls they had on display. They were limited with dairy alternatives so I ended up just requesting regular milk. They had either the classic cinnamon roll or with buttercream on top. I went with the buttercream for a change.

While waiting for our order, one of the servers asked if we would like espresso in the chai latte. I accepted the suggestion. Upon receiving our order, the green tea frappe did not have a very strong flavor and was more on the sweet side. The chai latte had a very mild chai flavor as the espresso was overpowering it. My partner and I wound up trading our drinks.

The shop was getting ready to close a short while after we ordered and they handed us our food in a to-go styrofoam container. I ended up exiting the shop and opened it to see that it was a red velvet muffin. I went back to the door and let a staff member know, who was getting ready to lock the door. She stated they wanted to go home because they were open since 7 AM. Despite this, she was very accommodating and retrieved the correct item quickly. I was also happy to see that she warmed it. I ended up enjoying the roll and the buttercream flavor.

The front door was locked, but there was an alternate exit that lead to the parking lot located towards the back. There was still a number of parties seated at the shop despite them closing and it did not seem like they were being rushed out, which was nice to see.

Overall it was a positive experience and a well laid out shop. I would definitely return if I was in the area again, but perhaps would like to try other drink items they...

Facilities: The place makes a great first impression. It’s a beautiful spot with elegant lamps and a spectacular garden. The outdoor dining area is cozy and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing time.

Service: At first, the service was a bit confusing. We were given menus for food and drinks but were then told to place our order at the register. I expected to be seated before ordering. The staff was friendly, but no recommendations for food or drinks were offered. I also noticed that despite having enough employees for the number of customers, the table next to ours remained uncleaned until after our food was served.

Food: My wife and I initially went for the coffee but decided to order chicken and rice soup along with a half-portion sandwich from the menu. The soup, while colorful due to the vegetables, had a very basic flavor, limited to just salt and pepper. The chicken sandwich was acceptable in terms of price/size/quality ratio, but for the same cost, you could find better-tasting options at a fast food restaurant.

Coffee: This was the biggest disappointment. I expected a well-made latte with properly formed microfoam and a balanced hazelnut syrup flavor that stood out beyond the milk. What I received was a drink where the milk overpowered everything, and even with two espresso shots, the coffee flavor was barely noticeable. I had to pay for an additional shot of espresso for each drink. I ended up spending over $16 for two hazelnut lattes with extra shots, which felt excessive. I would recommend investing in a skilled barista or training courses for the staff.

Bathrooms: The bathrooms were beautifully presented and modern, consistent with the rest of the establishment’s decor. However, there was no paper or hand dryer, a detail that should not be overlooked.

Conclusion: The place has the potential to be a high-end establishment, but the quality of the food and coffee fell short. They also need to decide whether they will offer full service or stick to a self-service model. While the venue has great features, improvements are necessary to meet the expectations set by its appearance and pricing.

Let me know if you need further...

Went here based off reviews and menu so figured we would try it as it's different than all the local places. Holy smokes, we were extremely disappointed. We were told to sit wherever we chose. Cool as there was both indoor and outdoor seating. Before we could even grab the drink menu, our waitress came up to us and asked us what we wanted to drink. I politely asked for a few minutes to look over the drink menu but asked for a water in the meantime. She huffed away and said she would be back. After 10 minutes of waiting for her to come back to take a drink order, we went up to the counter to ask where our waitress was. They said they didn't know and we were told to be patient. Cool, I can understand that if they were busy, but they weren't. Another 15 minutes went by and finally our waitress comes to get our drink order. She took it and based off the long wait we experienced for that we asked if we could put our food order in as well. She told us no and she would be back. We waited another 20 minutes to get our drinks (still haven't received the water i asked for yet) and she came back to our table with drinks we ordered. Asked if we were ready to order. We said yes and ordered our food. About 5 minutes later our waitress came back to the table and asked us to verify our order, which we did. The food came out about 30 minutes after ordering and mine was incorrect. I tried to stop the waitress and let her know but she was quick to turn around and walk away. After waiting another 15 minutes for her to return, I finally took my sandwich up to the bartender and told her it was not what I ordered. She then proceeded to asked me why I didn't tell my waitress that it was incorrect and I told her because she had not been back to check on us. I then received a very impolite "I'll fix it for you". Overall impression....don't waste your time here. Tomato bisque was disgusting. I could have spread it on a pizza and made it a marinara sauce. Sandwich was soggy. No one cared. Service was well beyond sub par. Overpriced for quality you get. I guess you pay extra for the attitude of your server. Will never...
