Niko's Pizza and Chicken — Restaurant in Uxbridge

Sadly, Niko's has gone steadily downhill ever since Sam sold it. I called in an order for a meatball sub, a falafel sub, and shells. I arrived at the time the order should have been ready but was told it wasn't ready yet. I waited about another five minutes of so, and the order was rung up and I was on my way home (less than a five-minute drive away).

When I unwrapped my food, I found the "shells" were actually overcooked ziti. Ziti was placed in a plastic quart sized container and sauce was poured on top. This meant the pasta on top had sauce, but there wasn't enough for the pasta on the bottom of the container. Not only did we get the wrong pasta, but it was overboiled and lacked enough sauce to cover it all.

Then, I unwrapped my meatball sub. It was completely cold. I don't know how they could make me wait for my order after I arrive, and then give me an ice-cold sub. But, somehow, they managed.

The falafel sub was decent, although they once again didn't have the tahini sauce as specified in the menu. In fact, I can't remember the last time they had it in stock (take it off the menu if you have no intention of stocking it).

I keep trying Niko's, and I keep getting disappointed more and more each time. I recognize the challenges of trying to operate a restaurant during the pandemic, but it appears they aren't even trying. The restaurant looks filthy, tiles are missing from the floor and wall, and the paint on the walls is stained. There seems to be little concern about the quality of the food or the condition of the establishment.

Under Sam's ownership, Niko's was a decent little restaurant and take-out place. The new ownership seems to lack the passion or ability to maintain its past quality. I learned my lesson and won't be in a...

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.. that man is rude and completely not welcoming.. no smile . No can I help you , just stared at when I walked in!! ive been living in uxbridge for years and theres a reason I've never ordered from here , craving mozzarella sticks tonight .. so I ordered on my way home from work and just found out my reason !! Never again ! If a customer calls and asks for an order of something and it comes in more than one size , if the customer doesn't ask, it should be specified from the business perspective.. I didn't even know !! Completely rude and ignorant. Ill never be back there . Over priced & not worth it . Never mind the kids running around all over in the back , not sanitary at...

Food is hit or miss, depending on what you get. Niko's really pushes their pizza but it's nothing special. However, their broasted chicken is amazing. I think they should go back to pushing that as their specialty. There are a million pizza joints but not many places that offer juicy, crispy breaded chicken like at Niko's. I haven't tried their subs and other menu items.

Service is good. Haven't had issues getting my food. Prices I think are pretty reasonable.

Atmosphere is definitely not great, but Niko's is more of a takeout place anyway. If you need a place to eat, they have a few tables at which to sit. I would definitely go back for their chicken but...
