Hannaford — Local services in Uxbridge

I'm DONE with placing an order for pickup. Every week, it seems that something is missing. Sometimes, it's frozen items, or a rotisserie chicken, or an entire bag. No call / text notification.

My expectation is that I should not have to check every item in every bag. That's part of the value proposition of this service that has missed the mark enough times to call it a trend.

It's not just the Holiday bussle either.

By the time the groceries get home, the department responsible is closed. The customer service folks aren't empowered to help either. We've been promised a 20$ gift card as recompense for prior issues that was never received or was lip service / vaporware.

Great in store...

The cashier who was working next to express checkout today with the curly blonde hair (I was told that her name is Nicole) has 0 customer service skills. I've been shopping here for over 15 years. The store has a pretty decent selection actually, a lot of great organic choices and helpful staff and I've always had pretty good experiences here. Lines can get long and cashiers can be slow at times, but a lot of kids get there first jobs here so your mindful of that and deal with it, no big. But never has a teenage cashier disrespected me like today. Too much to type, but ATTN: MANAGEMENT, your cashier Nicole needs a big refresher on having RESPECT and patience for clients. Pretty good grocery store overall. The average price of most items is cheaper than Shaw's or Stop and Shop, or really most supermarket chains except Market Basket and Aldi. I also like Hannaford brand more than other grocery store brand items, especially their "inspirations" items which I think are often even better than brand name. I've always had a good experience with staff, too. Parking is usually congested in the lot unless you go at night or maybe super early. The main reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because it's relatively small and doesn't have quite as much to offer as larger stores, but that being said, I find most things I'm looking for.
