Downtown Social — Restaurant in Valdosta

My family of four, twins age 13 and daughter turning 23 was there celebrating her birthday which i expressed coming in and on a couple more occasions throughout our stay but i felt like we were being rushed through the different stations and we had every intention on enjoying ourselves, just chilling, it wasnt busy, we were the only ones up there, we were gonna close the place out! AND DID!!! Ran up a pretty hefty tab doing so including the mandatory inclusive $30+ tip! On our way out i saw a stack of dessert menus with delicious items EVERYTHING $5 THAT WASNT EVEN OFFERED TO US AND ON MY DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY!!! I really felt some type of way that our "server" didnt THINK to bring THAT menu especially since i had kids and we were there OVER 7 HOURS!!! The other lady asked the kitchen and they said its too late theyre closed. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.....HUGE!!! I spent over $100 on food and beverages, $80 on golf and God knows what on bowling and darts and to not get any sweet treats for my babies because of our servers incompetence THEN BE FORCED TO TIP THEM i was very unhappy although i left with a smile because it was her day and i didnt want to spoil it by showing how angry i was at that situation. Food, the fried pickles were too salty and that orange sauce was inedible so they couldnt give us enough white sauce. The sliders i got 3 different ones. Sloppy joe it was sloppy but bland so nobody ate it and pulled pork nobody ate it but the brisket we ordered an EXTRA order of that one to go but they gave us a HALF ORDER OF FRIES WITH IT!!! So 2 of the 3 sliders from the first order didnt even get eaten but i paid for it and half the pickles! Basically half the food went to waste but we were there more for the festivities but for a single mom i STILL dont like throwing money in the garbage....it just...

My daughter and her boyfriend went last Sunday and she told me they enjoyed it. She took me, Mom and my Aunt today for brunch.....The waitress was very nice....but the man that's the owner didn't come to our table to speak nor ask how's everything.....but walked by our table 3 different times and went to a group of people of his race and laughed and talked.....The last time he walked by our table....I said excuse me sir 3 times and he looked the opposite direction and walked towards the front entrance door....I know he heard me and my mom said she noticed how he turned his head and yes he was very close by our table as he walked by. A lady came to our table shortly afterwards and asked what we wanted......I asked is the man the owner.....She said yes their the owner......my point is.....be nice to everyone that comes in.....because you make money from customers and everyone should be treated the same!!!!! All I wanted to tell him is I love his setting and we'll be coming back. I won't be...

We arrived later in the day so most of what we ordered was not available. We ordered 3 brunch trays, some tot-chos and a few other items. Most of our food was delivered dry, cold, or undercooked. Cheese wasn't melted on the grits, brisket on totchos was rock hard, bacon was served rock hard, what little biscuits we could get were rock hard, and our server absolutely could not be bothered with us. She seemed annoyed to have a table. Most of the food was inedible, but they did take half off the bill. One of the brunch plates was fresh, and hot. The others seemed like they were cooked first and the whole order was waiting on the final brunch plate, and so the only thing good was the final brunch plate. I wouldn't recommend eating there, or if you do- go way...
