Placed an online order 3-6 for delivery, upon getting my receipt emailed 2 minutes later it said pickup. I contacted the store and verified it was set for delivery, and I was assured it was "through a 3rd part source" and would be delivered. 1 hr later, 8 never received my order, so I called the store. The manager "Ashton" said my order was not set for delivery and I needed to contact Doordash or grubhub. I told her I ordered thru the Bob Evans website and she immediately cut me off and said it was thru a 3rd party. So I requested a refund, which after arguing she said she would call her upper management. Another hour later she calls back all nice and helpful now that I could get a refund and it would take 3-5 days to receive said refund. 5 days later, I never recieved my refund, so I put in an online complaint through your website, Fast forward 5 more days, I contacted the store manager Matt about my refund on 3 separate occasions. Each time he said he was so sorry and he cant believe it has not been processed and that he would call me back and never does(all 3 times). Then I had Jennifer Donnely(director of operations) contact me on 2 occasions explaining how sorry she was and she would get to the bottom of this last week. Beginning of this week I called her again asking about my refund and she said she would call corporate payroll and call me back. No call back, so I called today with no response again! Then I called the store again and spoke to Matt, who said he would contact his OP about my refund. (Still no call back AGAIN) So, now I've waited a total of 16 days for my refund, which I never have recieved and cant get any body to help me. I spent $73 and received no food or refund. What the hell am I suppose to do now? Contact the Attornery General? Or the BBB? All I want is my refund after all this headache and...

I've always really enjoyed my breakfast orders at Bob Evans...and I've been their hundreds of times over the years. :( I ordered for delivery last night through Door Dash. I received my order of Biscuits and Gravy after about an hour (it happens) and the biscuits were missing. So, I called and spoke with Ken (manager on duty) and he said that if I reordered, he would personally pack the order. So, I got a PARTIAL refund from Door Dash and then reordered the entire order. About 35 minutes later, I received everything. I opened the gravy and it was like brown water with sausage floating in it..and it didn't smell right. Again, I've had their gravy hundreds of times, this was NOT right. So, I called again and spoke to Ken. Quite honestly, he made me angry with his lack of concern. I hung up HUNGRY and fuming. I attempted to eat the chunky brown water, but took one bite and it tasted foul. So much so, that I was nauseated all evening. Of course, Door Dash refunded me once again and apologized, but this was NOT their fault nor the drivers. This was Bob Evans management's shortcoming. To forget something is human, not good business, but human. To serve horrible food is just bad business and could make people sick. If the manager "personally" packed the order, he would have certainly noticed that the gravy was not correct and should have stopped, disposed of the bad item completely and remake gravy (which Im sure is just a mix, if I had to guess). I would rather wait than to be ill. I no longer trust the management of that location to serve a quality product that won't make people sick. Bad on you Bob Evans.
PS: I also noticed that they rarely respond to their review postings, especially the negative ones. Also bad business practice. Shows a lack of care for their products...
Read moreVisited for dinner at approx. 8:30 after a long day traveling. Were seated immediatly but had to wait to order. Waitress delivered water glasses and coffee cup holding them on the top. Coffee refill was taken by waitress who reappeared after a while with a full cup again holding it from the top. Most places bring coffee to the table to refill a cup. I watched our waitress deliver jelly holders to tables all around us, getting ready for breakfast the next day, including interrupting diners at another table. No busboy, so our waitress cleared a table for party of six while we waited for our entrees. She brought the entrees but did not clear our salad bowls. Ribs were tough and tasteless, obviously cooked way too long. Bill was brought with the entrees, but it wasn't closing time and we hadn't even started eating our entrees, plus dessert was part of the order. Dessert peach cobbler was good but took a long time to get. Bill included a separate charge for soup that was included with the entree - took a long time to get a corrected bill, was told it was a computer error, but was I the first ever in the restaurant to order that meal?
