With all the great reviews this place had we were very excited to try it and had the opportunity on Sunday evening. We are not super hard to please but we couldn't have been more disappointed. We weren't expecting fancy, but were expecting small town quaint. In fact, this is a dumpy metal structure, with low budget accommodations, on the run down town square, and with nothing attractive or endearing. Great food and excellent service could overcome this but not here.

There was one employee here, a young girl working behind the bar/counter. We asked if it was open seating as we told her it was our first visit. She bluntly explained their operation like it was supposed to be intuitively obvious. We were informed that we needed to take a brown paper bag from the table along the wall, with an order ticket/menu stapled to it, and each of us fill it out. We would then present it to her and pay for it and then she would place our order. A little weird for sure... but we will see.

We ordered the standard things people are raving about and found a table. We finally received our food after waiting close to 50 minutes and we had to inquire how much longer it would be...

There was basically no service. Zero. The girl who took our order brought it out incomplete and apologized that one order of fries was missed and they would bring it right out. A different girl brought out the remainder of our order shortly after and was not seen again. . The food that was supposedly to die for was not bad but not overly memorable either. The chicken salads tasted fine but the portion was average and the amount of chicken was skimpy. The wings tasted fine but were a little too greasy for our liking. The burger was average and the chicken fingers were probably the best option. The portion was generous and my son liked them. We had four orders of fries, 3 of which were cold and one we paid for and never received until the end which they brought it out (also cold) and only when we asked and were leaving. I suspect they had minimal help in the kitchen as well as they are begging for support even though they are understaffed.

In addition to waiting an extended amount of time for our food, we were pestered by flies the entire time we were there. This was quite annoying and we debated eating outside.

These days, in the new style of ordering your are presented with how much gratuity you want to leave. ( before you actually receive any service) I didn't have cash or I would have just said "none" and as is normal, left an appropriate amount based on the service. In this place there is virtually no service. So basically in my ignorance I left a 20% tip for the privilege of buying my dinner, getting my own utensils, waiting 50 minutes for average food, some of it cold, missing one item, and battling pesky flies.

In a normal restaurant we would never have waited 50 minutes for burgers, salads, and chicken strips, We would have walked out. But here you have to pay first and then suffer the lack of service. We are very much in favor of supporting local businesses but we still expect them to be good. None of us can recommend this place.to our family or friends nor will we be back.

I am not normally a food critic and I am sorry if this seems harsh but it is factual. I feel a little ripped off. Maybe other people don't care about this stuff, but our experience was nothing like it was described to be. So even though the food was maybe 2 to 3 star quality the overall experience was a 1 star or less. We love small family owned restaurants but there was no family ambiance here. There was no service at all, no wait staff, no owner, family, or otherwise. Just order, pay, and eat when it comes out. Basically a not so fast food joint that also serves booze. . For $103.46 this was a stunning disappointment. I hope this honest appraisal in some way helps them figure it out or they are toast...

Wholly CheeseBurger! Why didn’t I know this place existed?

Let me preface this with Back in the 1980s I worked at the best Burger Joint in Dallas the Hole in the Wall on Harry Hines, for me to appreciate a burger joint and give a review like I am fixing to give should speak volumes alone.

Ok Valley Views greatest treasure is this quaint little restaurant on the North east Side of the square, nothing fancy on the outside and inside is simple! But the Flavor is Huge, you build your own Burger I went single patty, pepper Jack cheese, grilled onions, grilled jalapeños, maters, pickles and a fried egg on top! Bam Let me tell you what Fresh Not Frozen Beef and it’s the good stuff too! The Owners Son was Manning the grill today and Lord knows that youngster has talent, perfect cook on the beef, absolutely stacked like a photo worthy burger. Flavor was so good my mouth was in whole different world! Fresh Hand cut French fries that are perfectly cooked and seasoned and beg you to eat more!

We heard a rumor that Daniel the Owner had some of the best wings around so of course I had to indulge and try them, welp Rumor Confirmed the Wings are Big and juicy, several choices of flavors and you can’t go wrong!!!

The place is clean as a whistle may be partly due to the Owners caring as much as they do Absolutely a Must do Place and it is now on our Best Damn Burger in North America List.

Thank you Daniel and Family for such Amazing Hospitality and...

Like many, I first saw the 5-star reviews and looked through them. I happened to be in the area and decided to stop by, sinnce all the rave reviews seemed consistent and not contrived. When I walked in, I noticed no one else looked like me, but everyone smiled and nodded, and I felt relaxed and chill. I asked a gent by the bar if anyone was sitting, and he said not at all, I should sit in where I fit in. Cool guy. The staff gave me a couple of made-to-order menus and explained them. I told them I'd heard about the burgers, and they modesty said they were pretty good. Everyone called me 'sir,' which is rare these days. I went to pay, and the staff got a nod from the gent at the bar and told me he paid for my meal just to be kind and hoped I liked it. I went back over and thanked him and told him how nice that was! Who does that anymore? This gent and the staff made it a must-visit spot again. When I got back to the hotel, the burger and fries were still hot. And.... Wow! The double burger with bacon, grilled jalapeños, and a fried egg on a Hawaiian bun was even better than I expected! It was clearly made fresh, along with the fries. The taste snuck up on me bite after bite, seemingly better with each one. I took the time to write a review because the whole evening just made me smile. Anyplace that attracts kind regulars, serves great food, and makes you smile.... deserves a good review. Go...

This place has been through a few different owners in the few years it’s been in business but it has all been locals. It’s definitely come a long ways since they were in a food trailer. The menu has increased with new options and the quality of the product has increased as well. The one complaint I see locally is the time it takes to get your food. They don’t make your food until you order, and they get slammed at times. They’ve never claimed to be fast food so just prepare and call ahead or grab a cold drink when you’re there and be patient. The burgers and fries are great. Made fresh with a lot of options. Fries are handmade and combine them with some signature sauce or housemade ranch and you’re all set. The wings might be the most underrated item they have. At least for the time being, at the time of this review, they have $1 wings on Mondays. The dry rub spicy ranch is the best flavored wing there is. They nail the fry time every time and get a great crisp on the wings. It’s better than anything from Wingstop, Hooters, Hoots, Wing Pit, BWW, Pluckers, Boomerjacks, whoever else has wings. They also have dessert, beer/wine and now offer pizza and items to go with. I haven’t ventured past the burgers and wings yet so no review on the additional items.

Came here this past Saturday evening. Cute place, spacey, sodas made with real sugar, and we ordered off of a sheet and two burger bags. The menus were fillable and we ordered exactly what we wanted, two cheeseburgers, fried pickles, two sodas, sweet potato fries and regular fries, and hush puppies. The cheeseburgers were juicy and big and delicious. The only thing I’d change is add a little more salt. The sweet potato fries were the BEST sweet potato fries I ever had! Crunchy, seasoned, fluffy. The fried pickles were also delicious, the batter stayed on the pickles and they were crunchy, not soggy or too oily. Hush puppies were good but a little dense. I prefer fluffier insides, still a 3.5/5. Their ranch was delicious! Maybe even better than Wingstop. The sodas were so good I drank 2 cups of root beer. Im from Dallas but I’d definitely drive back just to eat here on a weekend.

Stopped in for lunch with my son on a Saturday shortly after they opened. Simple setup where you grab a bag and a pen and then mark all the options you want on your burger. If burgers aren’t your thing, they have pizzas and other options. We started with a Fried Jalapeños basket ($8.99) for the appetizer. Generous portion of jalapeño pieces but unfortunately the kitchen team over salted the batter. Good crunch but too salty. Son had the Crispy Chicken sandwich ($9.99) and Tater Tots ($3.99). I went with the Double Burger ($12.99) and Fries ($2.99). Both the sandwich and burger were very good and hearty in size! Tots were good. Fries were fair. Employees were largely high schoolers who kept busy and were helpful. Quaint spot with good food. Will have to try the pizza next time as most patrons appeared to order the pizzas when we were there.
