New Recent Visits, My last several visits to this Mcds have been excellent. Their management have finally gotten their staff to do an excellent job of preparing my double fish filets. Frying in hot not cool oil thereby avoiding grease soaked filets, properly steaming the buns and proper construction of the sandwich. Congrats, keep it up. The only issues I have had have not been with the staffs preparation. It's been with corporate who sometimes provide this store with poor quality fish, either fishy tasting or very thin fillet within the breading. Don't get me wrong. I'm not thrilled with the quality of any of Mcds other offerings except for the McMuffin. Their burgers and chicken are trash. Cofee is weak/watery and their frozen custard is and shakes are a also trash. So keep up the good work on my double Fish filets so I don't have to revert to my old review below
Old Review What is going on. After improving over my last few visits., My double fish filets made to order were loaded with greasy oil. Use a thermometer to get the oil to the proper oil temp per your specification manual, before putting the fish filets in it. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to do that. Hot oil is needed to prevent food to be soaked with grease. Also take some care in preparing the sandwich so the are stacked properly on the bun. Get your act together. This is a revised review to complement the manager and the staff on finally getting consistent quality on my standard order - a double fish filet cooked fresh to order. They would get 5 stars accept for the fact the McDonalds corp sometimes fall short on the quality of a filet. But that's not the restaurant's fault. Now to clarify. I don't like Mcds other menu items except for the Egg McMuffin. I think corporate made a huge mistake when they dropped the custom menu that had so many different toppings. I loved the custom burgers and custom chicken sandwiches.
Old revue - Closest to my house. This MD’s is terrible. Burgers are either cold or over salted. Fish filets are either over cooked or fish is of poor quality (old). Coffee is weak. I’d say that maybe the quality is acceptable only 25% of the time. As a side note MD’s in general has lousy burgers that are way overpriced for what you get. The McMuffin is the only decent...
Read moreOh my gosh, talk about bad bad bad. I mean it's fast food, so you know what you're getting yourself into. However, there's bad, and then there's this location's level of bad. It's been a crazy busy nonstop weekend, so we hit up McDonald's in between errands and activities. I was ordering a filet of fish value meal no sauce for my daughter, but before I could even finish my sentence, the girl interrupted me with "medium or large?" I said medium, but what I meant was medium fries, large drink, which I would have said had I been allowed to speak. So I managed to place the rest of my order. When I got to the 2nd window the boy was putting our drinks into a cup holder. I said, I do this want a cup holder, but I do want full cups. Kid you not, they were barely half full. Turns out they were pouring pop from 2 liter bottles, and he only filled them half full (no ice, btw) because of the foam. I said, well, you can rip the cup and pour more slowly to avoid that, and it wouldn't hurt if you told customers you were giving them pop from these big bottles. There was no sign, and the girl taking orders failed to mention that when she speedily and dully said, "welcome to McDonald's, how can I make you happy today?" I felt like saying, "if you want to make people happy, don't interrupt them, and tell them your pop machine is broken." Anyway, like I said, it's McDonald's, not the Waldorf, so you know what you're getting. But still...standards,...
Read moreWOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD. Coming off of a 16 hour shift, I walked over to the drive through a few minutes before they closed. After a couple of employees walked past the window and did not attempt to see what it is that I wanted. A younger kid walked up and opened the drive-thru window. I asked him they were still open, hoping to grab a burger and maybe something to drink. (I have worked in food service before and I know that the last thing a food service worker wants to see at the end of the closing shift is a customer pop up.) The kid told me they were going to close in a a few minutes and I said okay. I sat there for a few seconds while he stared at me with my money in my hand. I was waiting for him either take my order or tell me that everything was already shut down for the night (which again is an acceptable answer given the time of the night it was) Instead this employee opted to slam the drive thru window in my face. Myself and my co-workers unfortunately spend hundreds of dollars a month at this particular location just because of how close and convenient it is. To have a door slammed in my face is completely unacceptable. Probably will not be back to this McDonalds and neither will my co-workers. If the owner wants to reach out to me and try to make the situation right, I would be willing to listen. Although, if their employees are any reflection of their leadership, I doubt they will...
