Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Van Buren Charter Township

I want to preface this with I usually don’t complain, I work in the service industry and deal with customers all the time and right now I know that places are having a hard time staffing people. But today I went to get my boyfriend and I some coffee and snacks and when I approached the drive through window there was a younger girl working and she kept giving me side eyed glares, had a bad attitude, and did not make me feel comfortable. When I asked for a straw because they had forgotten to give me one with my coffee it seemed like I was being a nuisance to her. I remained polite because I get everyone has their off days and I don’t know what’s going on in others personal lives but I was just really bothered by the fact that I was treated like this. I just feel that if you’re going to be working the window or register you should at least have a good attitude . Horrible customer service the MANAGER MIKE ATTITUDE IS HORRIBLE tried to get a refund for a coffee that they got wrong ordered cream and sugar it was black unfortunately was already halfway to my next destination when I was about to drink the coffee the manager wanted me to come back and get another coffee when I explained to him that I just wanton refused because this wasn’t the first time that I had an issue with my order but this was the first time that I’ve called to complain I was told by the MANAGER MIKE to call corporate for a refund and when I called corporate they stated that he was able to and should’ve given me a refund and that his behavior was unacceptable MANAGER MIKE was rude had the nerve to ask me was I trying to argue with him when he was the one being argumentative just never agin will I visit this...

People should clean up after themselves, it shouldn't always be the employees who have enough to do but that's typical of Americans manners. I mean mean this as there is too much foot traffic and orders for the staff to take care of your crumbs every 5 minutes, yes I am American but just not lazy. All in all it is a good place for your breakfast coffee, just don't expect Starbucks quality. Expect something of good quality at a reasonable price unlike Starbucks. Even greater though Tim Hortons is known for their breakfast on the go is their lunch. Treat yourself to a Mediterranean panini or wrap, try something new, indulge your appetite. Their whole menu is pretty reasonably priced. Overall I like them every now and then and again but more often than Starbucks because I like not having an empty wallet nor do I care about...
