BIGGBY COFFEE — Restaurant in Van Wert

I’ve been coming here for over a year at least once a week without fail and always ordering the same drinks for myself and my significant other. But today was the last straw.

They didn’t bother to put the flavoring syrup in my partner’s coffee, even though I made it very clear when ordering through the app and double checking with my partner to ensure the accuracy. Mine didn’t come with the milk or extras I specifically asked for. To make matters worse, I decided to try the new seasonal item for something different and not only did they mess that up, they completely screwed up both drinks. We had to come home and literally fix everything ourselves just to make them drinkable. That’s ridiculous why should I pay full price only to redo the order in my own kitchen?

On top of that, the staff who used to be personable and genuinely fun to chat with have become short and dismissive. The friendly atmosphere that once set this place apart is gone, replaced with a rushed, impersonal vibe that only adds to the disappointment.

This place has gone completely downhill over the past year. What used to be consistent and enjoyable has turned into a rushed, careless operation where quality is clearly sacrificed for speed. It’s honestly sad to see how far it’s fallen apart, but even sadder as a loyal customer who kept giving them the benefit of the doubt.

At this point, it’s not worth the money, the time, or the disappointment. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that still cares about...

Short review: Worth a try and service is friendly.

The coffee in this small town just isn't the same here in this small town. However, this place is worth a stop to see if it fits your taste. The lemon muffin is really good, and some other food items are good, too. Note that if you are used to toasting bagels meaning they have a bit of a cruchy exterior, that is not what they do here. The toasting here is more like a warm-up. The drinks are good, but they just do not have that coffee taste and seem more like a treat.

Its a 40\60 chance your drink will be good. I order the same thing every time (matcha) and fell like more often its awful. The foam is out of control too, by the time I get home from the drive thru I have like half a drink..that I have to try and fix at hone and it feels like I end up with less and less every time. Im really over trying this place in hopes it wont take 25 minutes in the drive thru just for my drink to taste like dirt and to be half full.
