Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Van Wert

I am getting a little concerned. The food tastes great but just yesterday two of my family members got sick afterward. In the recent past, one family member got sick. It seems to be when fried food is ate. Has the oil in the fryer been changed? The reason I ask is because the fried foods from this same location in the past never caused an issue.

There is too much small talk between workers about non-related work stuff when customers are standing at the counter needing helped. One day I stood at the counter facing the blizzard making area just to ask a simple question. There were four workers in and around that area and only one worker was actually working. One was even playing with their cellphone. My spouse went up to purchase ice cream yesterday at the register and an elderly customer had walked up to the counter. I almost told my spouse to forget about the purchase because of the amount of time that...

Last three times I’ve been there I’ve waited for at least 10 minutes to get to the speaker only to be told they’ll be with me in a FEW MINUTES!?!?!? I have driven away each time and went somewhere else. How do you run a business when your customers have to wait an average of ten minutes just to order their food??? I called the corporate number and it ended up being the father of the guy who runs this specific store who called me back, only to make an excuse for the poor service... seems a little biased if you ask me. Not to mention all but about one of the people who work there have terrible customer service skills... no hi how are you, no thank you or anything. I’d say it’s about time this store needs some better management if you ask me. If I could give less than one...

Went through the drive thru at 8:30pm. Lights were off in the parking lot so we were gonna go around the building. Cars were ordering in the drive thru so we just hopped in line.ordered 2 medium Oreo blizzards and a peanut butter parfait. The gentleman at the window was nice……except he tried handing me a blizzard with ice cream running down the side. I got napkins when I requested them. Got home…. 5 minutes away….my parfait was already half melted and the blizzards were m and m instead of Oreo. Tried to call them at 8:50….twice….no answer. Now I’m drinking my parfait and the guys are reluctantly eating...
