My wife and I had a date night here two weeks ago and have been back two more times since. It's THAT GOOD! We have brought nine other people with us in our two subsequent visits and I've told all least 40 people to go here.

We have tried probably well over thirty or more sushi joints just around Portland and Vancouver over the list 12 years, not counting the Coast, California, Montana(yeah, you'd be surprised at the quality), Vegas and such. This is one of, if not the best, overall experience with it's high quality food, cleanliness of the restaurant and amazing staff.

I consider myself a bit of a sushi connoisseur and this is some of, if not the best sushi I've had outside of Japan.

On top of the food being fresh and prepared properly, the restaurant is clean, bright and the staff is very welcoming. On three of our visits, we were fortunate enough to have Mia as our hostess, waitress and friend. She is a truly wonderful person with an absolute heart of gold. She takes her job seriously, yet so has a great sense of humor and is easy to talk to. I told her after our first visit that we would be back many, many more times, but only if she was working and could be our server. She is such a sweetheart and her positive outlook on life is contagious! Employees like Mia are playing no small part in Sushi Ninja's success as young restaurant.

The prices are incredibly affordable on top of everything else. Maybe too affordable, but they are new and trying to get traction in a crowded market. Their lunch pricing is even more fair and the portions are the same size!!

This would be a great place to introduce a potential picky eater or someone who wants to try the sushi experience, but with cooked food.

Eat here, whether cooked or raw, you will not be...

Best deal and overall experience in awhile!! EVERYTHING was on point from service to food. It's so nice having a restaurant be somewhere the whole family enjoys!

The server was on top of it even though it was busy for the couple hours we were there. Always offering to fill drinks. Never pressuring us and very helpful with the rewards and gift card option.

Speaking of drinks - they have a nice selection of sake and Asian beers!! And had no problem with us sharing one of the big size beers. They also have bubble tea, Pepsi products, and even wine!

The lunch special for $14.98 is substantial and to get to add soup and cucumber salad for only 99 cents was awesome. There are lots of rolls to choose from. I really liked the Chili Chili Bang Bang Roll! Their spicy edamame was the perfect amount of spice. The egg flower soup and cucumber salad was nice.

Lots of hot food entrees and bento boxes for those who don't love sushi!

I like how you can sit at the bar and watch the prep and creating of rolls.

I always appreciate clean restrooms

Lots of parking and easy location

Rewards program and user-friendly app for ordering ahead and earning points. If you buy a $100 gift card, they give you a cool insulated cup that has a tea steeping insert as a thank you! I'll definitely be back so I had to get one.

This is definitely some of the best sushi in all of...

We are regulars here because their sushi is great and they have so many different options. We came by tonight at 8:25pm for a quick dinner before they close at 9pm. We do this ALL the time, order really quick and then are out by 9. The guy working the front desk tonight said he already did last call and refused to seat us. After we put up a bit of a rebuttal, he said we can do take out. It honestly made me want to walk out and never come back. This is not the regular guy I see whenever we come here so I'm unsure what part he plays at the company, but his attitude and treatment were unacceptable. I have worked in customer service for decades and you do not turn a customer away like that. We didn't walk in at 8:59. We walked in with plenty of time to order some quick sashimi, a roll and to be on our way. Luckily for this restaurant, they are some of the only decent sushi in the Vancouver area, so we will be returning, however this man's behavior tonight should be known. The purpose of this review is to alert their owners and management that your employee is turning business away. As a small business owner myself, I would want to be alerted if I had an employee pulling this crap. I feel completely disrespected and am very disappointed in this man's horrible level of...

Might be my new favorite place to get sushi in the entire Vancouver area. Finally got a chance to go try it the other night, and although they were very busy, it’s definitely justified. After probably about a 10 minute wait which wasn’t bad in my book, my wife and I were seated at the bar overlooking where the sushi was prepared and into the kitchen. All of the staff is incredibly in sync and very friendly to not only each other but also the customers, and are very efficient. Even with the amount of takeout orders going out, we received our food fairly quickly considering the dining room is full. I normally don’t like taking pictures of my food because to me it just seems weird, but this was worth it at this place. Just to show that the food truly looks like the menu pictures if not better. My wife got the Yakisoba as she does not care for sushi, and this picture was after she had already eaten half! I had a few bites of it as well and it was so tasty. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and such generous portions. An amazing experience, and will definitely be back regularly

A review two weeks ago said that the one in Portland is better. NO. My husband and I go to this sushi ninja all the time, and they are so consistent with their food. We haven’t had one dish messed up. They always clean tables immediately to make space for customers. They wipe everything down. It feels so sanitary in there. The Portland location is much smaller and there’s less space (although the food is good.) We love the way the waiters and waitresses conduct themselves. It shows a lot if you can see a kitchen, and you can see the whole thing . You can tell the workers care so much for the customers. The wait for food is worth it because the food is quality. Humans aren’t machines when it comes to how fast they make something. They do the best they can. And these humans do AMAZING. When we were leaving one night, I put the Sriracha mayo in the to go box, but I looked up, and the worker already put some in a to go container for me - they didn’t have to!! Highly recommend a visit here if you like sushi, you’ll love this place.
