Update#2: +3 stars for service. +2 food and +1 Atmosphere. +2 overall.
I was able to go back several days later and just tell them they owed me 4 cookies and a large Chili and they just handed it over and were super chill about it. And the food was freshly made with no errors the last 2 times we've stopped there.
Update: I saw a commercial for cookies and remembered they also did not give me the 4 chocolate chip cookies they upsold me on...
Original review: Wendy's is kind of the best when done right... it's also not difficult to get right... so going to a Wendy's should make for a great experience, generally.
Somehow, this location has perfected the art of doing it wrong. No matter the size of the order or complexity, they will... and without fail... forget an item in your order.
If you make a large order the "sandwich department" will "freak out"... their words not mine.
A large order of 3 burgers and 3 chicken sandwiches and 3 kids meals overloaded their systems. I think they were trying to see how fast they could get 'er done even though I happily waited in the parking lot for several minutes while they prepared the order... somehow the sandwiches were smooshed and they forgot the large chili.
The biggest issue was that when they handed it to me, they said "it's all there!" ... with the confidence of a person who could read and tripple checked the order. I was so mad about the sandwiches I forgot to check for chili... no large chili.... the reason I go to Wendy's... and for the faults, this place does the Chili right. Not watery like other locations.
So... If this changes after giving them all of this feedback (I told them all of this in person and on the phone) I will change my rating and review... but so far as lunch after Wilco goes... we will try someplace else until after...
Read moreCame in at a busy time, but I'm patient. They were working really hard and doing the best they can. I waited about 10 minutes, then I heard someone up front tell the cashier to quit letting people order. So they could catch up, I would imagine, but there was no announcement about it, just the initial cashier up front doing their best to not "Jim from The Office" at me. They kept their cool, they were okay.
About 5 more minutes pass, and the two kids in front of me leave. Great, awesome, I'm in front now, all I have to do is wait for them to let me order. Another few minutes go by, and a different cashier then tells me they're only doing kiosk orders. I turn around, and they're all filled up. A couple was going to let me go in front of them, but that's not fair to them and that was the last straw for me anyway.
I've got to wait? Cool, bring it. However, that whole thing was so mismanaged that I couldn't take it. How about instead of the two cashiers standing there doing nothing, while they wait for their supervisor to quit freezing and do something, they go stand by a kiosk until it's free, and then wave people over that have already been there, one at a time until things cool off?
If I would've known that the kiosk was the only way to get my lunch, I would've started with it. If there was ANY signage for the kiosk, that is. Is that a franchise error, or is that a corporate thing? It seems like a pretty big oversight, given what I just witnessed today.
That second cashier basically flipped me off, pointing to the kiosk like it's not their problem, with their dismissing little finger wag. I know it's just burgers, dude, but I'm a...
Read moreI don't usually leave reviews on businesses but hopefully this will help whoever it matters to do something about this location. This is the second time I've been here. The first time was dining inside and there were a few ants near the window seating. That was in April of this year. Today was the drive thru. It was over 30 minutes from when I arrived to when I received my food. The line was to the drive thru entrance when I got there. I assumed they were short handed, something broke, or they were training. Things happen outside of their control. It's a longer wait than usual but I was patient. I chose to stay and wait. Should've left.
I watched them hand my food to the car in front of me and the driver noticed it was wrong. They handed it back. I parked and checked my food before leaving. They looked alright at first glance though the bacon from the (plain and dry) baconater was missing. After getting home there were things I had asked to be removed inside the burger.
Judging by other recent reviews as well, I won't be able to trust this location right now. Possibly...
