Chuck Wagon — Restaurant in Vandalia

It's always nice to know a place that I will never ever go back to! Received my coffee there this morning pulled out the spoon after putting my cream and sugar in and there was a brown blob of something cemented to the spoon. I asked the waitress if I can have another spoon showing her what was on it, and she made a face and didn't even offer to replace the coffee. The food was okay for some bites but the stuff cooked on the grill had a gas or propane taste to it which ruined the entire meal. The toast I had was more like hard tack and had little green flakes on the side which i have to assume was mold. Waitress never did check back with me after food was delivered. 3 years ago this was a hopping place to be for breakfast and lunch. There is one waitress that works there her name is Angie she is horrible about chasing you down to the door and asking why her tip was low or she will accuse you of not tipping her. She is very unprofessional. Yesterday I ate breakfast there and when I was done I put down 1.25 for a tip on a $7 breakfast she took the dollar and left the quarter and then when I left she ran me down at the door and said is this all I'm worth i said you took the dollar and left the quarter on table. Great place. Three of us went there. I had pork chops with Greek seasoning and some fried potato with Greek seasoning. It was very tasty. Someone with me had the Beef Manhattan. He said it was one of the best things he's ever tasted it came stacked So High full of meat and gravy it looked phenomenal the other person had a root beer float grilled cheese and said it was really good as well. We were on our way through and drove past 7 fast food restaurants to go to this place and it was well worth it. Not only are you supporting local business but you will get much better food than you will at any fast food restaurant that's near there. I...
