Basing this review off my experience on Saturday, 2/3, because it was a lot better than usual. A blonde, female employee took my order and she was very friendly, which was refreshing. Usually the brunette female employee I get is always frowning and quiet. Additionally, my iced latte was a LOT better when the blonde employee made it (I assume she made it because this was the only time I had her and my usual drink was a lot better than before). I wish I knew her name so I could use it in this review. I went back the next day, hoping for the same quality again, and unfortunately I had the different employee that frowns and my latte was nothing like how the blonde did it. Iām hoping this review can help staff pinpoint what the blonde did to make the iced latte a lot better than usual. Iām not a coffee expert, so all I can say is it was lighter in color and tasted completely different (I could taste espresso this time and noticeable caramel flavor, unlike...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were excited to try this cute, local coffee chain on our way through town. Unfortunately, our lattes were undrinkable.
We both ordered a hot latte, one with oat and the other with almond milk substitutes. We knew we were in trouble when we received our cups and noticed how unusually heavy they were. One sip revealed the problem: the espresso had been topped off with barely warmed milk, entirely unfrothed. As a result, the latte tasted watery, and the flavor of the espresso itself almost completely overwhelmed.
Ironically, the cafe could save itself some money by properly frothing the milk, as frothing substantially increases the overall volume and thus requires significantly less milk to fill the cup. Frankly, it felt twice as heavy as it should. That makes for a lot of wasted milk and an unfortunate tasting product. Neither of us was actually able to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolute worst coffee Iāve ever ver had. Bitter old shots of espresso, cheapest ingredients for cookies. The peanut butter āfrappeā had little flavor just tasted like watered down butter peanuts. Avoid any drink with their espresso.
Edit Reply: Well if it isnāt the ingredients I would assume that you just donāt know how to make coffee drinks very well. The texture and taste of an espresso shot changes significantly after 10 seconds, you might be letting your shots go bad. I also recommend taste testing your drinks because youāre trying to justify an awful taste by āwe use organic ingredientsā. Organic doesnāt mean it is bland, bland comes from you not tasting what youāre serving and not having recipes to follow. Teaching your baristas how to make good coffee will help you serve drinks that are palatable. Good luck.
