*Edited on 8/23/22 Today's food was awful. Definitely a big miss. The chunks of tomatoes were like the size of golf balls and the sauce was in big piles on the pizza. Some pizza had no sauce at all. The crust on the Dominica was weird soggy but was tough at the same time. The steak hoagie was awful. Again, all the meat was in 1 spot and there wasnt nearly as much as there usually is. It was a miss for sure.

Very good as usual! The steak hoagies are 1 of out go to items here. My favorite pizza is the one with cold sweet sauce. Add hot pepper flakes and it's a knock out of the park pizza. My kids like the Margarita pizza. Always fresh tasting. They have good Italian dressing!

Ate here 6/22/22 and the pizza was fantastic as usual. The Dominica is the sweet sauce pizza and it was so good again today. Hot pepper seeds give it the perfect taste. ( Added pics. The thick crust is the Dominica) The margarita (thin crust) we get everytime we go and it's always really good too! They both reheat well.

Today the salad was horrible though. It was like eating...

I ate here once the sauce was a little sweet for my likings and a regular old plain pepperoni pizza would have been awesome but everything's bougie. My only gripe with this place is they have reserved three parking spaces in front of the building but do not encourage their customers to park there or in the public parking lot and instead block the residences across the street. Park in front of the handicap access ramps and cause the people that live across the street to walk over a block when coming home from work or from the grocery store with a car full of groceries. I guess my complaint really isn't with the restaurant but with the people that frequent it. The wedgies are good and the one time I got a sandwich from there it was pretty good. Just not really my style of food... I would take Vinny pie or veltres... But if designer pizza is what you're...

We’ve always been pleased with the pizzas we’ve gotten from Ianni’s. The pizzas all have different names and do have a written description, but sometimes we have been unsure what to expect just by description. So just giving my thoughts on a couple different options. White pizza is really really good. Tomatoes are cut into chunks instead of slices. Great flavor! Agway pizza is really really garlicky! A little too much for my taste. D’matteo pizza is pretty good. The cheese has a salty taste that is a little different than most. Domenica pizza is really good and different. I actually got this by mistake once and it was a good thing. It’s a very sweet crust. We’ve also sampled Margherita, OTC, Tarentino and others and have never had a bad experience. House salad is good sized and good looking....

I previously gave Ianni’s a glowing 5-star review, but I’m now updating it to 3 stars. Is the pizza delicious? Absolutely. Is the quality high? Without a doubt. The issue lies in the prices and portion sizes, which I feel don’t quite match the cost. We didn’t see soup still on the menu but previously they were pricey and the serving was small. However, the final straw for us was when we ordered house salads for $6.50 a piece. While it was incredibly tasty, we were shocked at how tiny it was—smaller than my hand. I still enjoy the pizza and appreciate having this option when we visit, but I believe a reevaluation of the pricing and portion sizes is necessary. For me, I’m sticking to pizza and nothing but pizza which will limit my visits.

Ianni's knows pizza. Excellent wood fired pizza. People that like fine wood fired pizza should spend their money at Ianni's. Be bold and try a different pie every visit, they don't disappoint. Not from Vandergrift? Try their two other locations in Delmont (temporarily closed) and New Derry. While you're there, swig on some ice-cold brewskis, maybe a refreshing salad, but save room in that stomach of yours for the final act! Am I being too cheesy? For real dough, spectacular place. I've been an Ianni's patron for over a decade. Five thumbs up! Cheers!
