Look, let me start by saying I love Mi Pueblo. I have always adored Mi Pueblo for many many years. It was like visiting Epcot for me, the atmosphere is fantastic, the food is very good, and the Mi Pueblo Margarita is a thing of perfection. HOWEVER.... Let me start by saying I wanted the Carne Asada Chihuahua, one of the best Mexican steak dishes I've had anywhere, even in Mexico itself. I went on a thursday evening and of course to place was packed. Seems like every place in Venice is packed from open to close. If there was a slaughterhouse around here with viewing windows they would probably be packed too. I never understood how the loval population who shouldn't be having anything spicier than herbal tea and tapioca pudding manage to pack every restaurant at all times. Is it a form of revenge? Do they work in shifts? They have no teeth yet they take up every seat at a steakhouse. Okay enough of my ageism. I waited almost a solid hour for my table for one, when I finally got it it was quite a moment of elation. I knew exactly what I wanted and ordered first chance I got. About 10 minutes after my dinner had arrived there was already a check on the table. I understand it's very busy and they want to keep the patrons coming in and out but could you at least give me 15 minutes to finish my meal after waiting an hour for my table? Of course the waitress said "whenever you are ready sir" but when that check is on the table you know that there are eyes on you and it's very hard to enjoy yourself when you don't feel particularly welcome. I was hoping to order fried ice cream for dessert but could imagine the dirty looks I'd get if I did. Overall the food was very good as always, but maybe on such busy nights they should open up the second floor that they have loaded with tables. Perhaps staffing is an issue as it is in most places these days, but I just feel like once you get people out of table you shouldn't have to rush them off or make them feel like they are doing them a favor by allowing you to eat a table. Dinner for one which was one entree and one cocktail with tip cost nearly $50. Perhaps do not charge top tier restaurant prices if you want your clientele regimented like you were a taco truck trying to satisfy an office park's...

Hello friends, I was in Vince FL with my wife and my wife was craving for Mexican food. Therefore, we decided to try Mi Pueblo Restaurant. The location is pretty hidden in the middle of a plaza south of route 41. Parking is a plus and plenty of parking and very safe area.

The establishment has two floors upstairs and downstairs with two double doors also there is a huge patio for outdoor dining which is a plus. I also noticed the patio appeared very clean.

There is a hostess upon entering and plenty of friendly professional staffs. There a full bar for those who love to drink. Upon entering I noticed too many flies which is a turn off for me. Maybe having an UV lights for insects would be ideal at the entrance. Just a tip for the establishment. It was pretty busy so we waited 15min by the bar area. Floors looked pretty messy but nothing questionable.

Tables are okay could improve on cleanliness as I noticed the waiters cleaned in a hurry doing a poor job! The seats looked run down with ripped materials. Mi Pueblo does have Coke products which is a plus. Chip and salsa on the house upon dining in, salsa is good. Appetizers chicken tocos jalapeños with cheese were okay I wouldn’t recommend it. Waiters/waitresses staff are keen to details and address refills, huge plus Restaurant has cameras everywhere making the place safe.

I noticed all menu plates provided big food portions. Staffs celebrate your birthdays with piñatas and singing followed by a big Mexican hat. Small chicken taquitos were given to us by mistake we tried them and the appetizer was bland, no good.

I ordered Chicken fajitas the plate was okay, chicken was bland, chicken at service was hot, but after getting Luke warm, lost its tenderness and tasted stale. Like the chicken was frozen for a while. Chicken enchiladas were okay, same as the chicken fajitas, lost its tenderness after it got like warm.

Restroom were clean and pleasant to use.

Lunch for two was rounding up to $56 excluding tips. Would I come back? Yes, I would try this place again if I am ever...

We visited for the first time on a Tuesday just before opening at 4:30pm. We were welcomed in promptly at 4:30 pm and immediately seated. What a wonderful place. Our server Nancy was outstanding! She saw to our every need and even offered us some special hot sauce when, unknowingly to us, she saw us looking at the selection of hot sauces on the table. She frequently returned to ask if everything was okay and offered us free refills on our soft drinks. What a gem she is. The restaurant overall is festive and neat. There seemed to be an abundance of help, so that wasn't a problem at all. It started off with a bowl of warm tortilla chips and salsa. That in itself was delicious. We then each ordered the two item combo plate and a cup of tortilla soup. I got a chicken chimichanga and a soft beef taco for my combo, while my dinner partner got a hard shell taco and a beef enchilada. Both came with refried beans and yellow rice. Everything was delicious. Afterward, our server Nancy asked if we wanted dessert or coffee, but we were stuffed, so we declined. She surprised us with a small "sweet" plate of what seemed to be tortilla strips drizzled with honey with dollops of whipped cream around it. Of course, she put a cherry in the middle. It was the perfect ending to a deliciously surprising first trip here. Thanks to the owner and manager for providing such a warm and welcoming environment to eat a Mexican meal. Special thanks go to our server Nancy, who made it an exceptional afternoon with her wonderful service and attentiveness. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. In fact, we can't wait...
