Best Donuts — Restaurant in Ventura

I can’t say anything bad about Best Donuts (once again, their spelling, not mine). As you do, I went by on a Saturday morning after working out and had to continue my hunt for the greatest doughnuts (that’s my spelling) in Ventura.

My official verdict? Not bad.

These aren’t super spectacular or anything, but they tasted fresh, nice and good. I went with my usual of a maple bar and chocolate roll thingy (I’m sure it has a name, but I couldn’t tell you what it was). Both fine examples of solid doughnuts.

If you’re in the area and have a craving, these will do you right. However, if you’re not, you probably won’t regret...

I have visited many a Dounts shops in my business over 40 years of traveling. and this shop by far beats 99% taste. freshness. presentations. cleanliness. and friendly owners . other than some modern remodeling. which most Dounts shops don't do. the quality of product they produce is definitely hands down. oh and the croissants. and great coffee. this place beats rolling...

I’ve gone here for so long, literally 5+ years. Never had an issue. Ann and her family are the best. This is a really awesome place and has a family feel. Love the open hours and sweet staff. Prices are more then fair. The ham and cheese croissant is good, other reviews say it’s not. Love this place!!!!!!...
