Mister Softee — Restaurant in Ventura

Mister Softee took our party to the next level!  We recently had our son's bar mitzvah at the golf course, all outdoor with massive dance floor and lighting set up under the stars, after dinner & right on cue the Mister Softee Truck pulled up next to our guests and everyone went crazy!  The adults were just as excited as the kids, maybe more.  We opted for the Full Menu option, and so happy we did, I saw guests with banana splits, shakes, dipped cones, there was absolutely something for everyone.  I was worried I should have had something besides ice cream as a dessert option, but those concerns quickly subsided when many of the guests approached me to say how cool it was to have the Softee Truck.

Nicole was a dream to work with, she answered all of my questions prior to booking, and forgave my lapses in correspondence when things got stressful, eventually turning into the cheerleader I needed when I thought we would be rained out, doing her darnedest to keep my spirits high.  "Rain or Shine!" she had promised me & sure enough even wrote it on the driver's instructions which he happily read to me upon his arrival.

While I had considered 'gatekeeping' on this vendor, they are just too good to be silent about.  EVERYONE loved the Mister Softee Truck and really took our event to the next level.  Thank you so much, made our soft serve...

Got there Sunday 3/17/24 about 8:40 pm. Had to wait about 10 minutes to have my order taken because the young lady decided to get a head start on her restroom cleaning etc. I almost left but I drove 15 minutes to get there. Ordered a SoCal dip and a medium chocolate cup with a lid. Dipped cone was dripping all over my hand, didn't get the lid for my cup, cup looked like a small. The guy literally almost threw it to me left the spoon in the cup. WTH? Not happy with the service at all. Got about $2.50 of service / ice cream for $10.00. FYI. Don't you close at 9:00? They locked the doors about 8:55. Lost 8 customers. With your prices that's just shy of $100. Don't think I'll be going back. Ice cream isn't that good. And we all know about...

Mister Softee is off the hook and they have a steady flow of ice cream lovers glad to have a place like this in the neighborhood. I've had a strawberry banana shake... superb, I've had a water ice... really good, I've had a pineapple sundae... bombay, I've had a root beer float... Sugar coma 😀. This place is super B. A. There is a line but it goes super fast. Coffee float is really good. All I can say 😀😁😃😄😅. And if you ain't gone over there then you're the only one that hasn't gone over there so forget your shoes just go and get...
