Two Trees Restaurant and Taps — Restaurant in Ventura

This has to have been the weirdest breakfast ever. Brought the family in for a bit and the place was packed usually a good sign.

I asked for a side of Hollandaise as I always do for eggs bene it was not bad with a bit of Tabasco i spiced it up and I ordered the EGGS BENEDICT with Ham, Poached Eggs, and the Hollandaise on an English Muffin. It came out cold like it had been sitting out for a while i sent it back and it came back out the same food as i had peppered it before they added some more Hollandaise and the food was kinda warm now with hard yolks and not hot. The plate was cold so I'm not sure what they did to"warm it up" but they didn't make me a fresh one that was hot that's for sure.

Elizabeth got the CRAB CAKE BENEDICT Homemade Crab Cakes, Poached Eggs & Homemade Hollandaise on English Muffin she said it was hot but the crab cakes were fine she needed to add some salt and pepper to bring out some flavor

Sam got the BURRITO with Scrambled Eggs, Home Fries, Jack & Cheddar and your choice of Sausage, she got it Wet with Ranchero sauce. she ate half of it and left the rest, normally she would bring it home for later but not this time.

Pink had the HEALTH NUT with Egg Whites, Avocado, Spinach, Broccoli, Mushroom, Bell Pepper, Tomato, Onion & Feta Cheese and a side of fries she ate the fries but just pushed the eggs around her plate.

We ordered a couple of sides of Biscuits and gravy the flavor was great the biscuits were fluffy however, the texture of the gravy was strange like cake fondant, to the point the salt when sprinkled on it rolled of and didn't stick to the...

Me and my in laws are locals and have been coming to two trees for years now. The service has gone down hill over the past 2-3 years. I used to enjoy taking my out of town folks here, but the service is just bad now, the bussers, folks at the bar, long time servers, and hosts are great, but when it comes to the newer servers I’ve gotten recently like a guy named Adan, they were just not friendly and unwelcoming. I asked if he spoke Spanish for my party who needed a quick question on the menu, he said “ya” then completely ignored the others at our table and seemed annoyed we were even there. Didn’t check on us for the time we were there other than to dump our food on the table and be dry when we asked for a water. For an $80+ visit, I’d expect at least a smile or something that show us we’re welcomed. We’ve all worked restaurant/retail jobs and know some customers aren’t friendly, but we’re always nice to those at Two Trees and it’s sad they started to treat regulars like this, my in laws who spend at least $125+ a visit included. It’s a shame and I wouldn’t recommend it...

It was good food . Had a chicken pesto sandwich . Didn't like the choice of soups and the salad was ok nothing special . There should make a special house dressing that would make it tasty . Add coutons or make it a ceasr salad with pesto or pasta salad with the pesto chicken sandwich. Was not offered any of the beer which we would have tried it if offered. Maybe we would have ordered a beer.. honey ate a classic burger with fries , waiter Eddie gave friendly service. Could have do w some recommendations or asked if we wanted coffee after our lunch. Cheesecake was a sugestion would of loved a expresso after that meal. but , the acknowledgeme of waiting at the door to be seated was poor. Alot of workers seen us just didn't approach us .I was not impressed all the workers chatting by the bathroom about last night . These were the females . Gave a bad vibe .. Also should have more thank a single bath room because there is a bar...
