Gold Star — Restaurant in Versailles

Wow where to start, I’ve only placed an order here 5 times and out of those 5 times I’ve not gotten to eat any of the food! I had to return the food all 5 times and get a refund. I spoke with the GM today about my experience at her location. I see why the service is absolutely terrible here. The GM was the most unprofessional person I’ve talked to at a restaurant. I was attempting to explain to her what happened but the whole conversation she’s cutting me off and wouldn’t let me speak. Then she hangs up on me and calls me back and claims she didn’t know what happened. Then she started on some nonsense about it’s my fault that the kids in the store made my food wrong! Then she started yelling at me and going on about I don’t like talking to women.. Um ok I don’t understand how that comes into all this! A simple apologize would of been nice and maybe get some feedback about your store should of been your main concern but you think it’s best to yell and blame your customers for ordering food and your employees are doing vindictive things to the food! So very poor service and VERY POOR MANAGEMENT! Word to the owner.. might need to Teach your employees...

Absolutely disgusted! Went there tonight for dinner around 830pm..the place was empty! As we entered I could see why.. absolutely no heat. . The waitress and rest of the staff was wearing coats. . Did I mentioned it was cold and snow flurries outside? We ordered our fooď and drinks.. took forever to get drink refills and when we got our SUPER 3 WAY AND CONEY DOGS.. it looked like something off the kids menu. So here we are eating. .. STILL waiting on drink refills. .. watching the staff sit around goofing off.. playin with kids that were brought in from another co worker that was there and didn't have a sitter. The food was cold.. the noodles old and crunchy. . But to top all of it off... as I watched other customers come in..freezing, and not from the weather. . The restroom was DISGUSTING. . feces everywhere. . On the seat. . Walls.. floors.. so got tired of waiting for our drink refills.. paid the 26.00 for the cold kids meal portion and left.. WILL NOT BE RETURNING...

The worst takeout ever. I ordered two super size chili’s. Came up to $20 bucks. My wife and I split it between my wife and I. I thought I was ordering chili. Maybe 3 oz of chili and a pound of spaghetti noodles. They’ve got a buck into this and charging me for this? I’d hate to see a regular order. Never again. Enjoy the twenty buck lesson, I know I learned something not worth the money.

Update Ok. Now that i have lived in Indiana a while I now understand that the pasta is a regional thing. So I will give them two more stars. The chili wasn’t bad, we ate that much and tossed the noodles. Nobody explained. Gold Star is simply giving the locals what they want. Value wise I’ve not changed my opinion. If Wendy’s can serve up a bowl of chili for under $3 I’d say Gold Star can offer the same...
