Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Versailles

I pulled in the Dairy Queen today to get an ice cream cone. I didn’t realize they closed at 3 o’clock today. There was nothing on the sign out front. Not until I reached the drive-through speaker right behind the car in front of me that got served, did I know. By that point, I’d already been sitting waiting for my turn. I can appreciate the fact that they were trying to get somewhere. But I was in line before 3 o’clock. I always ask them for a Sundae lid for my blizzard. I live on the third floor of my building. I always offer to pay extra but that doesn't matter THEY DO NOT WANT TO GIVE ME THAT LID ... They eventually do but they give me dirty looks.. LOL .. every summer for five years now. I have good reasons, but, should I have to sit in a Drive-Thru and explain them or should they just give me the dang lid? I think they should always give me the lid...

I love this Dairy Queen! The staff there are always so sweet, and everyone usually has a smiling face. The wait time can be a little long in the drive thru, but I genuinely believe that this is the best Dairy Queen around! I don't mind waiting for some of the best food in town 😉.
