Roscoe's Twisted Fork — Restaurant in Versailles

I just wanna say before anyone leaves a review they have to not base it on first experience, that is my golden rule. With that being said this is my first experience normally I would wait but they definitely deserve my graffitied. So I’m not from this area just happen to be called in to work cuz my company short staffed with this epidemic goin on, anyways I’m a caregiver first time working in Versailles and working graveyard none the less. So after realizing I’m starving and I didint stop on way to work for food I called everyone staring with local Casey’s to get anything to eat delivered and wouldn’t u know with the end of world going on and everyone in panic mode, food was not looking promising at all. My last attempt was a bar/grill option that listed open I call just to beg them to deliver and they didint even have me beg. In fact they were just closing but my location said I was only 5mins they went above and beyond in customer service,in food in politeness manors all around impressed there are still people with hearts as big as theirs. Not goin into details on food cuz only ordeeed salad I’m just so amazed at their level of professionalism and courtesy all in one as our epidemic evolved around us. Wouldn’t even give it a one-star. Got our drinks and ordered our food, took 30 minutes to get an appetizer that wasn’t even edible (onion blossom that was way over cooked on the outside and way undercooked in the middle).... found out that are drinks were just cans of soda that were 7 months out of date, and didn’t get a refill the entire 50 minutes we were there waiting on food. Finally got the food, and was absolutely terrible. Went to checkout, and told them about our experience and they decided to be super nice and ONLY take off the sodas.

Extremely good steaks, prices good very slow service seems the cook couldn't read well as two of the steaks came out after an hour and a half waiting then the other two didn't come out for another 45 minutes. The server was very apologitic and explained the cook didn't read the whole ticket. She did discount our over $100. order by $25. I will call to see if they are fully staffed and have a cook that can read before...
