Big Bad Breakfast - Vestavia — Restaurant in Vestavia Hills

Great place for breakfast. The waitresses were sweethearts, but they need to do better at waitressing, pay attention to detail. They didn't give us any silverware. The hostess should provide that when she seats you with menus. Not a good job at keeping drink filled or even noticing empty. A separate waitress brought our food to table; dropped off food without a word, didn't ask if we needed anything. Brought my biscuit with no butter. Had to ask for that. We were over halfway through our meal before our waitress stopped to ask how our meal was and if we needed anything. A bit late for that. My water was empty and she didn't notice. The girl who dropped off our food came by with coffee to refill others, but I don't drink coffee; my water still sat there empty without her noticing at all or asking. Our regular waitress came by to drop off ticket, she said no rush; still noticed nothing about water empty. She came back for payment, still nothing on water. Service definitely could've been better. Service is good. Wait staff very pleasant. After having two meals in this restaurant there are some things they can improve on. The noise level is ridiculous. Could not hear each other talking. The air conditioner vents blow right onto the tables. Was so cold and the food got cold fast. Not sure how to fix this though. The coffee was served lukewarm on both occasions. I wanted cream and it came in an ice cold very small silver pitcher. Makes the coffee cold. A breakfast restaurant must get the coffee right. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. While the biscuit was delicious the sausage was way overcooked and the size of a quarter. Was not edible. Had a pancake the second time I visited. Nothing special. Would have enjoyed it so much more if the syrup had been...

Service is HORRIBLE, like worse than McDonald's horrible. The waitresses are rude, talk over you, interrupt and appearantly like to steal your money too

Third visit in a row that my server added a tip without our consent. Put me on hold twice and never picked up again all while I can hear her gossiping ABOUT me in the background on the phone.

First two times I came I didn't even get my coffee or sauces I asked for until the end of our meal, and by then I had to return them because we were done eating so there was no point (Over 30 minutes at least. I am a very slow eater so it isn't like I was rushing anyone)
