If I could give 2.5 stars I would. I eat here a lot because it’s right near my workplace. The staff is usually really friendly but they are often understaffed, and often have online ordering only because of this. The food usually tastes pretty good but I’ve noticed sometimes their guac has brown spots and their lettuce is always a little freezerblistered/soggy because they freeze it. i know because several times I have found lettuce pieces with little ice crystals still on them from being frozen. Doesn’t bother me too terribly bad but I obviously would prefer fresh lettuce. isn’t that chipotle’s whole thing is that everything’s prepared fresh that day ? Last thing: I got food poisoning from this location a few months ago. Talked to the chipotle online help people about it and reported it but idk if they ever did an investigation into it. I know it’s common for people to get food poisoning from all chipotles because of the nature of their food/service style but I was not happy to be vomiting, nauseous, dizzy and delirious for four whole days- I lost ten pounds in a week because of it and because I was not able to keep anything down for several days. Read moreDon't order online. Their quality of food has gone down and price at this location has gone up as compared to other Chipotle locations. I have been regular online order and pickup customer at this location for the past two years and now I've stopped placing my order at this location. There have been many instance where they have missed lot of toppings from my online order which I realized only after coming home. Also, the quality of food has gone down and there have been many instances where it was not of Chipotle standards. My most recent experience was again online order pickup related. I went to pick up my order and was told that they are out of rice. Usually, in the past, whenever they were out of something, the website didn't allow me to place an order online and it will usually said "Temporarily unavailable". Last time the website did allow me to order even though the rice was unavailable and I only came to know about it when I reached the location to pickup my order. I was also ready to wait until it's ready but they didn't have any estimate and ultimately I had to leave the restaurant without my order. Wasted my time. I went to this horrid place but I usually go to the one in Hoover & I’ve NEVER had a bad experience with Chipotle EVER!! Anyway Friday November 4 I ordered a High Protein Bowl as the young African American lady with the curly reddish hair was fixing my meal I saw her Hispanic friend come on the side of her asking her “is that the chicken she used” pointing at it & they began whispering & me being me nice as ever I stated “it’s fine” so they get done whispering & the Hispanic lady finished my meal asking if I wanted shredded cheese I told her I wanted Queso and she gave me both I paid for my meal it was like $17. I ate my meal and around 4 am that Saturday I woke up feeling dizzy, nauseous, lightheaded etc. (you know the FOOD POISONING SYMPTOMS) I was vomiting & had diarrhea UNCONTROLLABLY!!
