The restaurant was clean and I thought the manager was a pleasant person but the waitress, Israel wasn't very good a lot of room for improvement. I thought she wasn't listening to what we were saying she got most of the other wrong or didn't bring to us. We had to keep asking for things over and over. It wasn't crowded so that wasn't her problem I think she was thinking about what she had to do next instead of paying attention to the guest at the table. We asked for the manager she handled everything I tried to explain the situation to the waitress but she didn't get it. When I told her she never gave me my sour cream or gave us water then we had to ask for the famous biscuits the whole ordeal was ridiculous and shouldn't happen and it hasn't happened before not at Red lobster and I was looking forward to it for the all you can eat shrimp I love my shrimp that was another thing they were out of a few of the shrimp stuff that I wanted on the all you can eat i was definitely disappointed with that. Ides for the manager since the waitress didn't seem to know what she was doing why don't you retrain her? Let someone who knows what they're doing teach her or tell her if she isn't going to forget what she is supposed to do tell her to write everything down it's better than having the customer having to keep asking for what they wanted or what they need it's definitely better than asking to speak to the manager raising a fuss about her messing up the order and not wanting to do anything about it not even apologize for her getting our stuff messed up or not bringing it to us. I really believe she didn't have a clue what she was doing and how to do it properly. The experience wasn't their best they usually are better and I hope when I can go back it will be worth it like normal I just hope I can get back before all you can eat shrimp is over. I don't like eating alone if I have to I will keep your fingers crossed I'll get back before my favorite is gone for the year. Thank you and God bless I join the club on the app but no one would show me how I could get the half or dozen free biscuits it seemed like they didn't want to help me could careless about it it's too bad I wasn't impressed by their attitude about that and the managers wanting to know exactly the problem was with our waitress I think she had an idea but I don't think she understood what the real issue was it wasn't all about it the service it was her attitude when we tried to talk to her about it and asked about our bill she got defensive and very rude like she had a chip on her shoulder. We 1st told her we thought she was a cute young lady with a great personality and we loved her name we gave her positive feedback 1st than when we tried to tell her about the other things she quit listening that's why we felt we had to ask for the manager normally I wouldn't I don't like doing that I don't want someone to get fired or in trouble but she wouldn't listen then she yelled at my friend that's when we had to leave. That waitress was out of control she should've been sent home or find something else to do like clean the restrooms she wouldn't be able to insult the customers I know this is harsh but how else is that waitress going to learn or the manager to realize she doesn't need people who act like that working at her restaurant it's bad for business and I don't want to see Red lobster be one of those that close due to not enough business I'm keeping my...
Read moreI really pondered writing this review, but I think it needs to be said. My family visited this location on Sunday 2/18 for my brother’s birthday . Upon arrival, we waited for an 1 hour before being seated. We didn’t think anything of it because it was Sunday. However when we were seated, they seated us in a room (the first room on the right). The floor surrounding our table was filthy. There was food, straw wrappers, dirty napkins and even silverware on the floor. They also had a plate propping up an uneven table. I’ve been eating at Red Lobster since a kid, and something I’ve always known them to do was sweep the carpet. The waitress came and took everyone’s drink order. After we waited for 20 minutes for our drinks, she came with them and began to take everyone’s order. She told us they had everything, except lobster tails. Mind you, they are running a Lobsterfest promotion. That was a disappointment, as most of us were there for that. We all proceeds to order something else. We waited an hour for our food, and never saw the waitress again, until they were bringing out the food. She didn’t refill our drinks or come back to check on us the entire time. Two people ordered appetizers, and they never got them. As they were bringing out the food, the waitress tells my brother, the birthday boy, they are out of crab legs. He was already disappointed about the lobster tails, but now he can’t get crab legs neither. He ended up ordering a burger. A burger for his birthday from Red Lobster. And no, it wasn’t late, it was 5:00 in the evening. She didn’t tell him until the food came out, so he had to wait longer. The food wasn’t good. They brought me the smallest potato I’ve ever seen, and it was overcooked. Plus my shrimp was bland and rubbery. My mom was still able to order the lobster linguine, but it lacked lobster meat, in which they tried to camouflage by loading it with tomatoes. My parents asked for the manager on three different occasions, and he would not come out to speak to us. We were told his name is TJ. Instead, he sent someone else out. The person tells us they’ve been out of lobster tails since the previous day. He blamed it on Valentine’s Day, which was 4 days prior. However, we found out the Trussville location was fully stocked on everything. I think management is the issue at this location because normally when restaurants are out of main menu items, and short staffed, the manager is normally walking around checking on customers. However, he refused to speak with us, and everyone else’s attitude was so nonchalant, like it didn’t really matter. It was an awful experience. This location needs to close until it can get it’s act together. We spent 4 hours at this place for absolutely nothing. The Trussville location is much better, which is where we should have...
Read moreI am done with this place... 3rd time we have been here in the last year or two and it was terrible. All around. The service was slow, bad slow, the wait to get seated was about an hour and the place was half full, the problem was too few waiters for the crowd. We had a party of 12 adults and 4 kids, which I understand was probably bigger than what they try to accommodate. BUT at the same time they designated a small room and 2 waitress for us, so you would have thought that they had us covered. My friend had to ask about 3 times for a beer and he finally got one on the 4th ask. The mixed drinks were weak, and the waitress that took our drink orders did not keep the drinks with the meals, and they didn't keep the appetizers to the same tickets either, this caused big delays at the end when we tried to sort our tickets. We were there from 6:25 until 15 minutes past 10. Almost 4 hours from start to finish. The last hour was us waiting on the servers to sort out the drinks the appetizers and the meals to the correct tickets. We were invited here to celebrate a birthday so we were not expecting to be in a hurry but almost four hours is a little ridiculous. It would be different if the food was good, but the food was just okay. Every Lobster we had was overcooked and chewy. The shrimp was pretty good but everything else was not. The calamari appetizer was overcooked and overpriced they used to give you a lot for your money, it seems to me the proportions have gotten smaller and the price is not gotten any cheaper. Like I said earlier this was the third bad experience in about 18 months. We will not be back regardless of the circumstances. And it's such a shame we used to come here regularly about once a month. The food was good the service was great and the whole experience was worth the money. Sadly this is not the case anymore. I would avoid this Red Lobster and not...
