First and only time visiting Napoli. The bruschetta was served with very stale bread, but at the very least, and only positive of this review is that the tomato, onion, and parsley were fresh. After that, I ordered the broccoli and chicken pizza. For the price they charge, I was expecting something unique, artisanal, or authentic. What I got had the most bland pizza I've ever tried. In hindsight, it was foolish to assume they would have used broccoli rabe, but I certainly was not expecting broccoli straight out of a steamer bag. The chicken looked and tasted like it came from a can. I don't think a single herb or spice was used in the creation of this "pizza". As for the service, my wife and I were the only two people in the restaurant most of the time during our visit. That should have been a sign to turn around at the door. The waiter spent most of their time on their cellphone and only checked on us once. I had to go up to the counter to get our check. The dining area seemed nice at first, low lights, nicely set tables, but once you started to look around, you noticed a disgustingly thick layer of dust on the shelves and decorations. Never again.

I had a fantastic experience at Napoli Italian Restaurant & Pizza, it truly exceeded expectations in every way. The moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome, and the restaurant itself was spotless, warm, and inviting. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, and it was one of the best I’ve had the crust was just the right amount of crisp, and the toppings had that perfect balance of heat and flavor. I finished with the Chocolate Cannoli, and it was absolutely delicious, fresh, creamy, and beautifully presented. One of the standout features of Napoli is their outdoor dining area. It’s quiet, well-kept, and the gentle sound of the fountain makes it a relaxing place to enjoy a meal, especially in nice weather. Whether you’re dining solo or with a group, the atmosphere feels just right. I also appreciate that the restaurant is wheelchair accessible, which makes it an inclusive and thoughtful space for all guests. If you’re in the Vestavia Hills area and craving quality Italian food with great service and a peaceful ambiance, I highly recommend giving Napoli a try.

Napoli Italian Restaurant & Pizza is a hidden gem in Vestavia Hills, hidden between Hoover and Mountain Brook. I visited Napoli with a few friends for dinner. We tried the garlic knots for appetizers which were a bop! They were so delish, I could literally live off of them. The pasta dishes were all hits. I usually don’t clean plates but I couldn’t resist, I had the chicken fettuccine pesto and it was quite literally heaven on earth. I wish I had ordered another serving g of garlic knots to eat with the pasta bc that would just be over the stars delish. The prospect of going back to Napoli is living rent free. The food was fooding, everyone loved the food, service, and the overall dining experience. We all said we would come back and we believe Napoli is better than MANY other Italian restaurants in the area.

Heard good things about Napolis so my wife and I came in around 4pm Valentine's day to beat the rush. Sign on the door said reservations required but since it was early and the place was empty the waiter agreed to serve us. Ordered the Red Snapper on the special menu and it came out almost raw. Sent it back. Waited about 15 minutes and the second piece was not much better. The waiter asked if I wanted something else but by then I wasn't interested and my wife's meal was mostly eaten so we paid and left. The special lasagna price was $38. It was good but not worth the price; basically chicken and spinach. Total bill was $71 for 2 beers and 1 meal including tax and tip. We went home and I ate leftovers. Tried to contact manager on website but no response. Called restaurant and talked to the manager who said he had no control and couldn't do anything about it and I should call the owner. He had no idea when the owner...
