Sunshine Creamery — Restaurant in Vestavia Hills

Sunshine creamery is exactly the addition this area needed. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners Jarrard and Casey and they both exude "sunshine" for sure. The creamery is located in the plaza with Publix so it is very easy to find and there is plenty of parking available. The space is cute, welcoming and clean. The staff is attentive, friendly and very quick. Everyone was more than happy to make suggestions or let you sample any of the MANY flavors they have to offer. You can grab a seat inside or take your treats to go after ordering. They even have some icecream sandwiches, pints and icecream cakes readily available next to the register that looked really good. If you're not much of an icecream person, snowcones were available to order as well. Definitely stop by if you're in the area! We plan on returning several times.

My daughter lost her baby doll's pacifier and when my wife called to ask if they had seen it the owner personally turned the store upside down looking for it, even going so far as to personally check trash cans, and review video. He later called my wife and confirmed that he saw my daughter leave with it on the video and we later found it fell off in the car. Great ice cream and even better service!! Proud to support such a family friendly small...

Food was quite delicious. Chocolate was fresh and tasty. the meal was surprisingly heavy especially for ice cream. I would have liked the chocolate chips to be consistently spread throughout the two scoops. one crevice was filled with chocolate chip and the rest was less saturated with toppings.
