Bella's Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Vicksburg

We ate here while visiting the Ameristar casino. It was the only restaurant open, and after being told that many food items were not available, we should have left and ate elsewhere. The only positive thing about the restaurant was the pre-made grab & go garden salad & there was no wait to order or for a table and it was quiet.

When we walked up to register to order, the employee immediately told us what items were not available, which severely limited our options. For each menu item we chose, we were told they were out of something or something wasn't available. For one item that I wanted that was listed as an "Entree," which the menu clearly says comes with fries, she said that that particular entree doesn't come with fries and that it was a misprint on the menu. Our order came pretty quickly, but my husband was given sweet potato fries instead of regular fries, and the patty did not taste or look fresh and looked like a cafeteria-style patty; he said the burger was "awful." My chicken quesadilla was a good portion size, but it was too greasy; I couldn't finish eating it. The loaded fries we ordered weren't "loaded" b/c none of the toppings were available; they were out of chili & jalapenos, and they only had sour cream packets, so what we ended up with was plain fries with the canned, processed cheese that you'd get from a concessions booth. We could not even eat them.

The employees were friendly, and service was relatively quick, but overall, we were very disappointed in this visit and it was not worth the price we paid (about $50 for the 2 of us) even using comps. I went to belle's around 9 p.m. last night with a friend. I ordered garlic parmesan chicken wings. The wings was cold when they came out. I took a bite and sent it back. 15 minutes later, she brought back another batch of wings. To my surprise, it was the same batch I sent back, being re-fried!!! One wing still had my bite mark. I was appalled. Not to mention I was under the weather, how unsanitary. The rest of the wings were all shriveled up and dry, looking like small drumsticks jerky. Bellas need to give me my job back since they cant make my pizza correctly . I specifically told them no ham no sausage and i got more ham then any other toppings and then they only put one pepperoni per slice. I knew i should have stuck to my usual delta burger .
